I have played to about 1000 citizens so far. And the performance on my 5600x and 3070ti has been very good so far, other than a few hiccups here and there. I'm playing on medium settings with some key things disabled and I'm getting 60+fps so far. It definitely needs work still though, and the default settings should have been reduced so people weren't met with a laggy menu right off the bat. I think CO is dedicated to fixing these problems though, they have a good track record when it comes to the first game.

Other than that, gameplay-wise it seems to be an improvement in many of the facets where the first game was lacking. The new road tools are a dream to use and the economic systems feel so much more fleshed out. It feels like this game has a lot more room for customization and extra content.

Overall, so far so good with the right settings and an improvement gameplay-wise.

I played quite a few hours of the demo too. Great game already! It's a ton of fun, already pretty polished, and the devs are actively answering questions and fixing bugs in real time. In just those 1.3 hours I played just now, they released a patch that completely fixed an issue I was having with my controller controlling multiple players.

Definitely recommend for the campaign and as a fun couch co-op game! Pick it up! You won't regret it.

A remake of a classic by an absolutely iconic game developer. Such a legend, as many fans will know, the original games were coded entirely in assembly language. What a machine. This open-source remake is also very amazing, with a pretty active community adding some great QoL features and other things like multiplayer. The development has only seemed to get even more active in the past year or two. I look forward to continuing to see its development as we go along. For the price.... it's hard to beat! ;)

The best 30-minute-long game I have ever played. So simple yet full of personality. Can't wait to play it again on the Steam Deck!

I've owned this game from the start and I've loved every minute of it. I stopped playing for a bit then came back and they have made small but very helpful QoL improvements that have made it even more of a joy to play. Started a new world and was surprised how much better I was at it the second time around. I've played a ton of Satisfactory (but never player Factorio) and this is in many ways better than Satisfactory. The visuals are smooth and I almost never see anything like model/texture popping, etc. It's very immersive. The music is good and they've added more tracks to keep it less repetitive. You can even use a mod to play multiplayer. The language is a bit unnatural at points, but in a way it only adds to the charm. Overall, a great experience. Definitely recommend, especially for the price!

A very enjoyable game. I used to play Harvest Moon so I'm partial to the genre, but Stardew Valley not only is a great homage to that series, but adds so many new and interesting elements that work quite well. If you're on the fence but think you might enjoy it, definitely go for it! I also love the fact that you can basically play with just the keyboard, great for kicking back on the couch or in bed in a comfy position. Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The biggest piece of crap ever. It had so much potential and was sold so well during the IndieGogo campaign, tons of future tech that sounded amazing, but the devs never did anything with it. Poor planning, waste of potential, time and money. Sad, I had high hopes for this small Canadian dev team.
