Really enjoying this. Feels very Dark Souls-ish, very smooth gameplay, less ball-bustingly hard than some of the other souls-likes. Looks really nice, has a lot of cool systems, tremendous atmosphere!

Still holds up really well. I want so, so badly for them to update the graphics but otherwise it's still so good. It's proof you don't need 78617231765 buttons to press and a bunch of complicated systems to make a great RPG.

I really, really like this game. The shooting feels really tight and satisfying. You can play for short bursts and your build as you progress through a mission really matters. The story is minimal, which means if I only have 30 minutes to play, I can get to the action without watching a bunch of cut scenes. There IS enough story though that is slowly revealed which is interesting and there are a surprising amount of things to unlock and do. In short, it's perfect for those times where I want to just blast stuff but I don't want to invest time in any setup or relearning what I was doing after a taking a break. Recommended!

It's awesome. I got the original on a bargain deal and never got around to really playing it much, so I don't have the nostalgia for it others have. But I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of Skyrim, and so this feels very familiar. So, I'm really enjoying playing through this since really it's all new to me. The world is gorgeous and super fun to explore and plays super smoothly. Its not crazy complex with 86 different button combos to swing your sword which is exactly how I like it. Leveling and role-play is sensible and I'm really trying hard to play through this as blind as possible, and I'm loving every minute.

It's a blast. Easy recommendation if you liked Skyrim and never got around to playing this.

I actually refunded this the first time I bought it. The movement felt clunky to me, and when you first start out, it feels pretty hard, especially as a solo player. But I had a friend of mine who really liked it and I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

The gameplay is admittedly somewhat repetitive. You land on a planet, do some objectives, blast enemies to pieces, get picked up to end the mission, rinse and repeat. However - the environments and the way you get attacked and have to work together with your team to overcome challenges is SO exciting and addictive. Like the first game, you can friendly-fire your teammates, and this can cause some additional frustration, but it creates this sense of realism and awareness of what you're doing that really adds a lot of depth and challenge. And my GOD, the effects of fire and explosions against a dark backdrop or the various exotic colors and various planets are just gorgeous - the art direction and sound of the game is just fantastic and really adds to immersion. And that's even before we get to the hilarious Starship Troopers-inspired satire that adds another layer of fun to the game.

In short, definitely recommend giving this one a try - tons of fun with friends, great community, lots of challenge, and things to progress towards and unlock. For democracy!

Really enjoying this, and I haven't really enjoyed the total war games in the past. I think the difference here is in the unit variety, the spell casting and the Warhammer theme (I did not play TW:W I or II). The tutorials do a good job of teaching the basics, and failing that there's a strong community of content creators to help as well.

LOVED this. Got it during the Black Friday sale in 2024 and enjoyed it thoroughly. Discovering all of the Jedi moves as you progress in the story is fabulous, and the lightsaber combat feels great. Recommended!

It's kinda hard to put into words what makes this game so fun and addictive. The core loop is basically just - catch a bunch of Pals, craft and build up base, level up and unlock more things, rinse and repeat. There are a few other things sprinkled in - boss fights, exploration...I dunno the combination just works. I tried the Pokemon games for switch and they just didn't have staying power - I think this one definitely does and I think there's a lot of potential here for sure.

Picked this up during the winter sale and it's been WELL worth it. It's kind of a weird mix of Gears of War and Diablo. The combat is SUPER fun.
