I played this game for the first time evidently a day or two after the 2.0 update happened. I can't speak about the differences between the two versions, but I can say that the game in its current state is amazing. If you are debating purchasing this game, the only question should be "Do I like 4x games?"....If the answer is yes, then ignore the noise and buy this game.
