RE9 is a great mainline title, bringing back the classic horror-aspects with Grace, and RE4 combat with Leon. At best the game is an 8/10, a lot of people seem to be complaining about the writing but I thought it was fine, just very stupid.

There are certain people who just hated this game for some odd reason complaining about the plot which is silly. Resident Evil has NEVER taken itself seriously ONCE. The game is called Requiem for a reason, the 2nd half is obviously going to have fanservice for one of the coolest main characters in the series and people don't understand that.

I personally enjoyed Grace's segments more than Leon which is surprising, the horror in this game is fantastic and I'm glad it's back to form coming from Village/8. Overall, I think the biggest complaint I can say about this game is the playtime/potential. It could've added way more to Grace's section, as well as introduce Victor as a following/Tyrant type of enemy that can control doors and stalk you. It would've been so cool to have that, but regardless I still had my fun.

Also, Zeno is the potential man of this series and sucks.

This game is great, not amazing, but I don't mind this being Leon's final game. It's a great farewell for him.

This is a review for the first 3 hours, opinion is subjected to change as I obviously haven't seen everything this game has to offer.

Pathologic 3 is a game I've been looking for quite a while now. I haven't finished Path2 and have only gone halfway through but I feel like I'll return to finish it one day. I knew absolutely nothing about this game other than the mania/apathy mechanic and I thought this game would be another survival game but it actually isn't which is REALLY surprising. So if you're looking to play this game after Path2, the gameplay loop literally got turned upside down, instead adding in a time travel mechanic which is all brand new to me.

I wanted to start with my gripes first: (I know hotfixes are being added by the time of writing)

-Performance can be kinda iffy for how this game looks. I love the artstyle/aesthetic of this game, but it seems a little bit demanding for what it's showing.
-There's this fast travel mechanic which just sucks... Path2 was a bit tedious to travel around the map sure, but there would always be something to look out for (Path2 also had a fast travel mechanic with the boats). The way they did it here is really odd. The devs separated the map into areas now which ruins the immersion ngl. There was something about seeing the town go to hell but in this game you just travel to said point. I hope they scrap this idea all together, or at least piece the map together again for players like me to walk through.

I've heard of bugs going around but thankfully that hasn't happened to me as of yet. So far I'm really enjoying this game and what it has to offer for the future.

This is also me being entirely honest, but I think for newer players Path2 is the better option as of "now", but this is still the same story being told just from a different perspective and gameplay.

EDIT: (This will have minor spoilers)

I have more hours and experience with the game now and I have to say that I really do like this game. I'll keep it on positive review, but man these bugs are literally game-breaking, it's so damn frustrating.

I've went back in time multiple times to do this chain event of investigating Isidor's house, I have the results laid out in the mind-map, but for some reason in future day(s) mind-maps, I apparently failed and didn't do anything. I've tried restarting Day 2 and wasted so much amalgam for an event that simply can't be changed or fix and it's really damn frustrating when the whole premise of the game is changing events. Opening Simon's study also didn't do anything for my mindmap (apparently I never opened it), feeling like a waste of time. For Pathologic standards this is literally unfair as I'm unable to reset it no matter what I try.

There's also bugs of character animations, especially with Georgiy not even looking at me lol.

Orderlies is something this game needs to talk about first or foremost because you're literally screwed if you don't have an extra 5 people to do vaccinations decrees. (This is probably a future day mechanic w/ Rubin and many more, but I feel like it should've been addressed earlier in the week if I'm being honest.)

Someone mentioned this in their review, but there's an odd thing going on where characters literally seem to not know who you are despite talking to them in the past... I had this with Maria Kaina. Shortly after opening Simon's study on Day 2, you will immediately talk to Maria. Dialogue happens. Skip a few days later, find her at Isidor's house and she will literally forget who you are. Sticky also apparently forgets who you are despite talking to both of these characters on Day 2. I know there's a lot to play around time travel mechanics but this is really jarring to say the least and there's no fix for this at all.

This game has a good ground to work off on, I just think it needed to cook a little bit more. I'm glad the devs are constantly updating the game as of now but it needed to be delayed and worked on. I enjoy this game, I enjoy the pressure, but the it just isn't fair.

Honestly can't believe it. Battlefield 6 bandwagon is finally over and now they're showing true colors and will do so continuing on.

Let's see, we have memory leaks, terrible events, ongoing bugs, horrendous game balancing (breakthrough), RedSec garbage, and the list goes on and on. The worst part is, is that the game is fun, but my opinion on it goes lower and lower as the Battlepass gimmick continues. How do we make it even worse? Add in generative AI slop, what an amazing idea to copy what Black Ops 7 did! "We will not use generative AI in our game" and now there's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ plastered in the store mixed in with hideous menu UI. It's actually unescapable how ugly this game is getting. All the devs before BF1 are long gone and it's quite obvious, now it's "Battleshill Studios" bowing down to EA(I) slop. I will keep playing the game but no longer will they receive a dime from me.

FIX THE DAMN HIT REGISTRATION AND NET CODING! HOW ARE YOU A BIG FPS WITH ONE OF THE WORST HIT REG EVER MADE???? I'm not the only one complaining about this, you will DIE CONSTANTLY FROM HIDING BEHIND WALLS. WHAT THE HELL.

Screw you, I really hope what happened to Black Ops 7 happens to this game, goes to show how people are tired of this AI slop trend. I wouldn't be surprised if the next map is genAI due to how bad the new ones are.

Finally finished the 3rd play-through (true ending) I can say this, Silent Hill f is a good game.

It's insanely tedious having to replay this game 3 times, however the 3rd play-through pays off in the end, though as typical of a Silent Hill game it gets a bit ridiculous towards the end.

The absolute worst part about this game (especially on PC) is the optimization. Never in my life had I had to change from 1440p to 1080p just to play a game capped at 60fps. That's legit embarrassing, and by the time I'm writing this there's no patch fixing any of this. Seriously wtf? Either way, I do think this game is actually gorgeous in some sections. Who knew guts and flowers can mesh so well together.

Combat sucks, it's whatever. You do get used to it. Hard difficulty really kicks you in the balls at times but it's definitely a bit more enjoyable than turn your brain off Story mode which I did for the 2 other play-throughs. Overall the gameplay is just blegh. I wish they did more on the setting of the game and added more puzzles. It felt very lacking for some strange reason.

Getting into the story, it's the saving grace of the game thanks partly to R07 (my goat // writer of Umineko and Higurashi). I did kinda subvert my expectations and to be fair and it was still a slight disappointment? I expected too much, but it's not like the story is terrible by no means. This game is very word heavy meaning you have to read Hinako's journal and look around for notes. It really helps illustrate the current thoughts of what she's going through.

JPN sub voice acting is pretty great on Hinako's part, she really nails the role especially in the multiple endings, genuinely felt bad for her. Hinako's a great character overall, and yes, this game is very focused on the feminist aspect, but that doesn't undermine the emotional values going on throughout the story. No one should be pressured/forced to do anything for anyone's sake. This game hits the nail on the head with the idea of individuality and becoming your own person, not someone's puppet.

I've only played the originals of 2 and 3 and I do think f can stand on its own, it has its own unique flair but the gameplay should've been reworked all together not going to lie.

Overall: Place, Japan Silent Hill f is a pretty decent game. I don't think I wasted my time playing it 3 times, but I do think it could've been better in a lot of ways.

This game is so bad that the only reason to even play it as of NOW, AUGUST 2025, is for the BF6 skins. That's it. I'm hoping to God that Battlefield 6 is actually good and fun on release. This game is beyond terrible no matter what other people say.

The maps are garbage, way too big for absolutely no reason.
Operators are horrendous, one of them has the ability to spam 10 grenades at you which is stupid as hell.
This game has even worse net code than Rainbow Six Siege, and that's crazy to think about.
Gun variety in this year is still somehow lacking, BF4 has way more guns than this one has???
Graphics look even worse than BF1 and BF5, AND it runs worse.

Only buy this game for the free BF6 pass, there is nothing redeeming about this dogwater game.

Day 4 of 12, this game is starting to feel like torture and everything is going to hell. Everyone speaks in foreign culture tongue. You are trading kids some marbles for morphine. Death toll keeps rising. This is probably the most unique game I've ever played and it is NOT fun, but that's good.

The atmosphere is fantastic, it's so moody and miserable. The music and ambience is also some of the best I've ever heard, it feels eerie walking through the town in DAYLIGHT of all times.

Legit my only criticism is that it's hard to get into. HARD. I can see why people drop it instantly. There's so much word vomit in the first few hours it can get exhausting. This game tests your patience and literacy, be aware of that.

I'm not completely done with this game yet, but I was really "scared" starting it. There's so much going on at once it starts freaking you out. It really makes you think out of the box on what to do. Seeing how much I've been struggling makes me want to see this game to the end, regardless how much people are going to die. This is a one-of-a-kind product; no other game has made me feel dread. This is not a game for everyone, but I personally think it's a game a survival horror fan must play.

What a frustrating, annoying as hell game. Seriously, why are zombies spawning from the sky and falling on top of me? The countless numbers is way too much, and the melees feel like trash most of the time. What in the world.

It's honestly incredible how good Rebirth is, like it's genuinely one of the most fun I've had with any action RPG. This truly is the best remake sequel to a game ever, it somehow makes FF7 Remake look unfinished in comparison. (Which makes my excitement for Part 3 even more hyped).

Legit my only complaint about this game is the performance, like everyone else has had. (The mini-games and regions' point of interests can be a bit repetitive though.) Yet it won't stop my recommendation at all. It's so damn fun and the story hits hard, the characters are all great, the level detail is amazing I don't even know what else to say anymore other than every FF fan should play this no matter what.

Let's hope SE releases Part 3 on PC on launch day.

This certainly IS a game.

I think this game is way too hated, however, I do get why people don't like this game at all. At best, I would definitely rate this game like a 6.5 out of 10, it's not a terrible game as people make it out to be. But it sure does have its faults.

To start:
- The beginning of this game is really boring, up until Chapter 3 where the "real" mechanics begin. Yes, the combat (paradigm/crystarium system) finally works 3 Chapters in. I can see why people who don't know absolutely nothing about the game will quit it before Chapter 3 begins because it is SO BORING.
- The beginning of the game also makes you think you should know everything that's going on and it kinda forces you to make you read about the events unfolding. Yes, this is a common negative a lot of people talk about, the "datalog" and the lore. However it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Yes, it's way too much information going on, and the narrative should've explained things much better instead of just blurting out names from the characters.
- You won't get a full 3 person party until Chapter 10. This honestly kinda pisses me off, the game is close to ending and you're barely giving me the permission to have a 3 person party. Yes, events happen where the previous chapters are only 2 party members. Still, it is really annoying just missing a person for almost the entire game.
- "The game opens up at Chapter 11." So you're telling me, the game actually becomes a game, 2 chapters before it ends. ??? Not only that but man does the difficulty spike hit super hard once you get to this chapter. You are forced to grind which depends on the type of player you are can either be really annoying or just part of the rpg genre. Had to grind about 2 hours because a basic enemy was 2 shotting my entire team lol. Call that a skill issue on my part. Still, this game makes Chapters 1-10 a glorified tutorial which is baffling to me, I just don't know how to feel about that.
- The main villain sucks and his name is literally Bart. Plus the final boss has an random chance instant kill spell, which is super dumb.
- Nitpick; when entering combat and switching paradigm, you're forced to watch a 3 second cutscene of your whole party switching classes. This is just me but this pissed me off because you can get a game-over during this small cutscene.
- Your party AI can sometimes be utterly brain dead to the point where YOU have to put matters in your own hands. Especially healer AI, they don't Esuna or Raise UNTIL all the party members are full health. This is stupid and I hated it.
- You cannot control your character's movements during combat, meaning ALL of your party members WILL stack together to get hit by an AOE attack. WHY????????????????????
- Upgrading system sucks.
- Save station menu navigating SUCKS.
- Whoever designed the camera needs to get punched in the face.
- If the party leader dies it's game over, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself.
- My biggest disappointment, and others can definitely say that I'm wrong about this, is that the summon system is terrible? Summons, KNOWN for dishing out TONS of damage hit like a wet napkin. They're only ever used for getting your party out of dangerous situations only for a short while.
- PC support is horrendous and the game looks horrible if you don't get a modfix. Base FF13 has a weird diagonal cut?? It's really bizarre, also the game is capped at 30fps along with ugly as hell graphics. The mod made this game look amazing though, so good on them for fixing it.
- The story is just mid. There's some good moments and then there's RIDICULOUS moments. JRPGs are known for being really tropey, but this game does it to an extreme. There are several parts in the story that legit makes no sense and the characters just play it off as nothing happens.
- Speaking of characters, I feel very mixed. I like them, but mostly their entire personality consists of just talking about one person, THE ENTIRE GAME. SHUT. UP. SNOW WE GET IT. The first half the characters are unlikeable, which I kinda like, they're all douchebags to one another and eventually will come together as a true party. Especially Hope, who can be super annoying at the beginning of the game. Vanille's stupid "noises" during combat and exploring is really annoying too. Lightning can also come off as having the personality of stale bread and I'm pretty sure anyone who played this game has called her "Girl Cloud" at least once. Fang is too cool to change. Either way, this game is way more character-driven than story-driven.
- The music is pretty good!

I've said a lot of bad things about this game but when it's good, it is actually engaging. The paradigm system can be a lot of fun once you start learning how to get around encounters, switching back and forth to see what meets and what not. A gripe I had is that some characters are miles better than others, Hope has a faster animation of casting compared to ANYONE else which kinda makes him a must have near the end of the game. However, any character can be viable, which is cool.

I've said enough; TLDR: This game has lots of faults, and can be summed down to be just a mid game, but it does have its highs.

I'm rather new to the FF franchise, starting with XIV (up-to-date) and finished XVI, so I thought I'd play backwards to see how far the series has evolved. I gave up playing this game, halfway through it clicked that I do not like this game at all. I had the mentality of just wanting to finish this game for the sake of saying, "I beat FFXV and I can say that it isn't good." If you like the game then that's okay, personally I think it's beyond shallow and a boring mess. I wanted to like the party, and they're just either really boring or insanely annoying (Noctis and Prompto). Similar to XVI, the open world is empty, and the dungeon layouts are either hallway simulator or confusing for no reason at all. The biggest enemy in the entire game is the damn camera, absolutely AWFUL CAMERA. Pair the terrible camera with the boring gameplay and that's all you will be playing for the rest of the game. Don't get me started on the sidequests, probably the worst sidequests in any game I've ever seen. I just don't get it, maybe I'll try to play it again in the future but as of now, no thanks.

I think the game's intro was really good, and the concept of having a road-trip with your friends was such an awesome idea. There really are a lot of cool things this game does, Arminger is really cool! I thought that maybe the hate wasn't justified. The combat was cool for the first 2 hours, then it kept repeating, and repeating, then gear check, then repeating. It just becomes brain dead. Also, Ignis' food looks delicious, at least you cooked there.

If there was a meh rating, I'd give it that, but I've never had a game made me give up halfway through.
