I still can't see what the fuss is about?

VERY steep learning curve but there are alot of guides out there

This game is ok, but it's completely filled with hackers - even when players are 150-1 death there's no admins around, it's an absolute travesty.

I've been playing for far too long.

My first 8k hours were spent in PVP servers, which I absolutely loved, had some brilliant experiences.

But 3 years ago I launched my PVE servers - Markiii-Rust and I haven't looked back since.

If you're after a friendly community - which you will never find on a PVP server, please consider taking a look at mine. As seen in Brits videos.

So I purchased this game on Thursday, i did'nt know it was launch day.. it just looked like a good alternative to poe.

6 hours later i join discord and learn it launches Thursday.

Ok no worries, I wait a couple more hours, download 19gb, then the Steam login doesn't work, this goes on for several hours I don't get on.

Friday, I log in first thing before work, get maybe 30 mins and everything runs right.

Saturday - take a day holiday from work to catch up... servers down for 18 hours straight.

As I sit here on saturday morning, I'm frustrated as heck. The discord is full of arguments, mostly fanboys who won't let a bad word be said about a shockingly bad launch.

I will persist, and I will revisit this review once the game improves, but save your money, don't dive in like I did with a game you won't get to play.
