My review is strictly from the standpoint of someone who has already owned, explored, and played through the original Stanley Parable for years. If you have never played the Stanley Parable before, ignore this review. Purchase this game instead of the original, and enjoy your time with clever narration, branching paths, and exciting discourse.

For those of you who have played the original before, and are considering getting The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, this is for you.

Even with the 33% discount of having owned the Stanley Parable, the amount of money I paid for The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe isn't worth the content added. $22.59 CAD for a handful of new endings, and nothing else of note? This should have been released as a DLC, not a separate game.

I had high hopes going into this: of additional branching paths added to the original routes, of fun new gameplay mechanics, of re-experiencing everything that made me love the Stanley Parable. Instead all I got was a bucket, a couple new endings, and an area dedicated to EXCITING NEW GAMEPLAY that was instead a "gotcha!" moment, with the same joke of "this feature that isn't working right now will totally work in an imaginary second game, I swear!" repeated over and over.

Just watch Youtube playthroughs of the new endings, and save your money.
