In its current state Mowin' & Throwin' feels unfinished. This is mostly due to the complete lack of AI players.
If you have two friends over to play, you will be unable to all play together as you can't play any form of 2 vs 1 with one person having a computer team mate. Also the 1 v 1 is very limited in play as you have no team mate on your side to work with. So really this game is only good fun if you have 4 people who can play.
There is no form of single player what so ever! No way for you to practice on your own etc.
Just imagine getting a tennis game where there was no computer players, NONE! This is what Mowin' & Throwin' feels like.

If at some point AI gets added I will change my review. But as of now I would really not recommend this game.
If they added a simple AI to fill out teams and an ability to switch and take control of your team mate like switching players in most sports games then I think this could be very good.
But as of now, being really a game that is either 4 human players or nothing, it is bad.

Toys of War is a fun local party game.
You currently can play up to 4 players local couch play or online.
This game is also fun in single player as the AI gives a good level of challenge.

You can play deathmatch type games everyone against each other or assign teams for 2v2 or 3v1 type games.
There is a nice selection of vehicles and each handles differently and has different weapons.

I had a few issues with the menu and controls but the developer has been extremely good and addressed everything I have had issues with as best they could very quickly. If you use Xbox One Wireless controllers like I do then you will have to assign your controllers to a player slot each time you start the game. Tip: An easy way to do this is to turn on the "Remap on Launch" option in the settings. Which is something they added that I requested :-)
I was surprised by how helpful they have been and by the fact they are still actively working on this game as of August 2019. I suggested a new game mode to make Invisible Tanks that appear only when they fire, and they(the developers) have started working on this mode and should be launching it soon. They also said they may be adding 6 or 8 player support in the future, which would really make this game awesome.

Overall Toys of War is a super local party game that is only going to get better over time. I think it is well worth the asking price. If like me you remember and loved the old Atari 2600 game Combat or enjoy games like Bomberman then this game will make you very happy.
It's an essential addition to your couch party nights!

Best Bomberman yet!

If you liked the classic Bomberman games for couch play with friends, you will really love this one. It has more game modes than any other Bomberman game I have played and includes new game modes similar to capture the flag and Counter-strikes Hostage rescue. It also has a game mode where you collect crystals in the battle arena and only drop them if someone else bombs you. Then you respawn in 3 seconds and keep playing. The player with the most crystals when the timer runs out is the winner. All these modes are really nice additions as in the standard Battle mode, once you get bombed you are out for that round. This can make it very annoying for less skilled players who die quickly. I found some of the new modes were much more fun for my friends’ kids to play with us as the imbalance in skill didn't matter so much.

The only negative I will give to this game is the poor menu system. They seem to have split the game into two initial choices, one of classic battle play and another of Grand Prix mode which includes the crystal collection game. I see no reason why all these game modes could not have just been listed under each other in the same menu as it just makes switching from one to the other more tedious. Also, another strange thing is that they added the Quit Game button inside of the Options menu and not in the main menu. Again, this just make the flow of the game menus awkward. It feels like a lot of things were tagged on after and not properly integrated into the menu system. Hopefully this will be updated at some point.

I have seen many people giving this game poor reviews due to online play not being so good. I personally have never played Bomberman online as to me it kind of defeats the whole point of this type of game. Bomberman is an extremely good party game for when you have family or friends over. It supports up to 8 local players (if you have that many controllers!).
If you enjoyed the classic Bomberman games for local party play you will not be disappointed with Super Bomberman R!

I got this game as a part of the Couch Competitive Collection bundle on sale. I wouldnt have bought Tumblestone on it's own as it didn't look that good to me. But after playing it I would have to say it is a solid little puzzle game. It is nice for passing time in short bursts and the included multiplayer is a nice feature too.

What I don't like about this game is the art style. It is very childish in its presentation yet the game is not really suitable for young children because of its difficulty in later stages and the strange tagged on story. I think an alternate less embarassing art style for adult puzzle fans or a more cute style for young children would transform this game.

Also this game should include Steam trading cards and drop 6 cards from playing it but so far I have not received any even though I have played it a number of hours. I read somewhere that games with less than 500 customer reviews will not drop cards so this is why I decided to add my review.

Overall Tumblestone is a good little puzzle game with nice mechanics and gameplay but I would recommend only getting it on sale for €5 or under, as the art style just feels cheap.
