Unfortunately the game is very much in it's last few weeks, so this is less a review and more me talking about the community I love.

I've never met a community so nice and welcoming, what I thought was gonna be a simple game of the week turned into me joining discords and playing customs with new friends for twelve plus hours at a time. What I thought was gonna be a sweaty competitive type game, actually turned out to be a community that is just that - a community. From joining the discord and meeting the nicest people to being able to join twitch streams and have the streamers be nothing but welcoming; maybe odyssey didn't make a game with infinite longevity, but that's okay. Cause the one thing they did was make the best community possible, and for the many MANY people I've met through this game to the people at ody i'm glad it was more than a game of the week for me

This game ate three years of my life, I was a fool who spent that time hundred percenting warframe out of spite. To all the people who told me I wouldn't or couldn't do it; know that I hated doing this every step of the way and to any who take up the task of hundred percenting warframe. Don't, learn from me and go touch grass, it's a MUCH better use of time and the sunshine will do you wonders.

Edit: So Duviri Paradox finally came out, I remain underwhelmed and let down. As such my original point still stands, go touch grass.

This game has taught me many a new and exciting flavor of CBT, most of which I inflicted upon myself as soon as I started my funky little journey in Elden Ring. Now you may be wondering, why do that to yourself? Well if you're the masochist type of maybe even if you just wanna dip your toes into it. Elden Ring is very much the game for you my dear masochist.

All in all:

The game is a let down

For the full retail price of 17 dollars one would expect there to be some amount of content associated with the game. One would expect there to be an attempt at crafting a tactical game, however what was delivered was none of those things.

There are many many more games in the tactical rpg genre, most of which are rather good and very much worth your time. I would strongly recommend Xcom the game is very good has multiple expansions and you get exactly what you pay for, don't buy sword legacy it's five hours long and there are many other games worth the time investment as well as the monetary.

Short and Thought Provoking:

If you're a fan of VA-11 Hall-a then The Red Strings Club will feel familiar in ways, while the game may be lacking in anime waifus unlike VA-11 Hall-a, it is similar in regards to how progressions plays out. The game will have you mixing drinks while also getting to know it's characters fairly well.

The only issue is the length of the game, which makes it hard to recommend at full price. However if you see the game on sale I would absolutely say go for it as it can be completed in an afternoons time.
