No matter how much I play this game I never tire of it. The beautiful scenery, the absolutely stunning music, and ever evolving game play keep me captivated. I am a bit of an art brat. I absolutely love graphic design and most of my music library consists of game/movie scores (OSTs) The Long Dark is at the very top of the list of my favorite artistically developed games. The game play is fantastic. Some days I'm having fun exploring, other days (like last night) I have a moose that wont leave me alone and I've got to fight for my save files life (I Lost....RIP that Survival Game) All in all I love this game, I can't wait for future updates, and I don't anticipate myself putting this game away any time soon.

I bought this game literally one month ago, and I've already spend 84hours on this. This game is addictive, intriguing, entertaining, informative, beautiful, impactful, and above all unique. Yes I am aware that there are other 'war survival' type games, but This War of Mine really really stands on it's own platform in my opinion. While other games encourage you to play 'survival of the fittest', 'get the bad guy', 'regret nothing', 'rule at the top', and other game play mechanics; TWoM takes a knew approach. While yes the player still has the choice of pillaging, murdering, and serving themselves there can be serious consequences. The player and characters can actually suffer from cruel acts adding a large slice of reality to the game. Whats more, TWoM offers more pacifistic routs like helping neighbors, donating supplies, taking in survivors, surviving with and even surviving with minimal to no hostile moves on the players part. As with hostile choices, the player/characters will still live with the consequences positive or negative. This adds a bit a realism, joy, guilt, remorse, and a huge amount of perspective.

Of course with any game there are bugs, problems, and features that the community may or may not want to see implemented. Luckily the dev team is very talented, amazing, and thoughtful of their fans. Thank-you to everyone at 11 Bit Studio's! You guys are truely awesome! :D
