Early Access Review
Spoiler free review, I won't say anything that hasn't been showed by Endnight prior to the game release.

Tldr - 8/10 as a forest fan, 6/10 overall. The early access shows its teeth a bit, but it's bearable and is a very fun experience with friends. Took us around 10 hours to 'beat' it without trying specifically to 'beat' it. (Beat being full completion of the story)

I am what I call a purist, in that I like to experience a game to it's fullest and in the way the developers intended. With that said, the forest was the perfect game for me as it didn't make me do anything and let me do everything myself. Do not get this game if you prefer any kind of guidance in a game. It doesn't hold your hand, it doesn't tell you what to do or how to do it, and that's exactly what Endnight wanted.

Now, the elephant in the room; early access. This was the right call over delaying the game again, and it's still a very playable and enjoyable experience. Some bugs my group encountered were;
- Log duplication
- Golf cart launches
- We had enemies jumping through walls
- Numerous bugs with the golden armour
- Virginia (more below)

All of these we found a way to work around or simply didn't exploit, but they could be exploitable. Don't let the early access turn you off the game though, it's still great and will only get better.

- Kelvin is my absolute favourite addition and is a great companion, though he's very literal and as such people have had complains (such as chopping down their tree-house tree when told to clear an area). He works really well overall, and is super fun to have along.

- Virginia would be a great addition... if she worked properly. I can't tell if she is supposed to travel with you, or defend your home, but she seemed to try and do both and neither at the same time. I did achieve max bond with her, and even still rarely saw her as she teleported around the map and just hung out at random places, only showing up at our base every once in a while. Everything about her mechanically is great, but something is very wrong with her ai.

- The building is a big step up from the first game, (minus the free build aspect with blueprints) as it's alot more immersive with you having to cut every log to size, split logs etc. Very aesthetically pleasing, but time consuming at times.

- The weapons are excellent, each and every one of them. None feel unusable and the strong ones feel strong. It's always a great feeling to find a new piece of equipment and things never feel useless.

The story is a bit of a downgrade from the first, but not in that the story itself is bad. It's just very scattered. In the first game you were putting together puzzle pieces for a grand finale at the end that made you understand exactly what happened, whereas here it's more like you glued a bunch of puzzle pieces together and have a vague understanding of what the puzzle was supposed to be. Still not bad though.

I am super happy they put a custom difficulty thing in the game, and as such I won't speak on difficulty as it's all up to your own customisation. The seasons work really well (anybody saying they happen instantly slept through the night and didn't see the snow buildup, etc) I will say that the fights are a lot more fair than the first game. Cannibals will block your attacks and dodge out of the way, it's not just you flailing wildly with an axe. Big guys will knock you down with their hits, and the mutants are not just bullet sponges anymore, they feel like proper survival horror mutants now.

This game is unbelievably fun with friends that like to just mess around and explore, not speedrun. By yourself I'd say it's better than the first, but still not amazing. The map is beautiful, although I've heard some reports about performance issues, so I hope that gets ironed out. To anyone with really high performing hardware, make sure you're not on integrated graphics, I saw a guy with a 3080ti saying he was getting less than 30 fps on all lowest settings, which just isn't possible. The game is exactly what it looks like in trailers, if not a little better.

This game will continue to update and upgrade as full release is around the corner, with more updates to come aswell. This review is based on my experience with early access and what is has to offer so far. Big respect to the devs for actually listening to its player base and implementing changes that the community suggests, rather than dialling it into whatever can earn them the most money, I truly believe the developers want this game to be a beautiful experience full of immersion, and its showing.

Overall, know what you're getting into. This is the perfect game for a purist such as myself, but people who like to beat games quick may want to pass on this one. With friends it can still be a blast though. If you liked the first game, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I wholeheartedly recommend Red Dead Redemption 2, and here's why.

It is a mature, story driven, open world game. And it touches on some profound subjects like loyalty, sacrifice, loss and redemption. And as such, you have to respect the pacing and the time necessary for character and story development. Things take time, and good things take even longer. But in the end it will all be worth it.

If you expect this game to behave like a battle royale, guns blazing, non-stop action clownfiesta - you'll be sorely disappointed. This game is the complete opposite of that. It's about character growth, meaningful choices and living with the consequences. Not gonna lie, a combination of all the things I'm about to mention, mixed with personal feelings made me tear up at a certain point in the game. And that's the magic that inspired me to write this review.

Visuals and Innovation

The prologue serves as a short introductory tutorial, which in turn also shows off some of the game's innovative technology. Gorgeous graphics, volumetric lighting, polished animations, incredible weather effects and biomes, all of that wrapped nicely in a very well crafted soundtrack suite.

I was lucky enough to be able to run the game on a combination of Ultra and High settings. And it is ridiculously beautiful. And I'm not talking only about the textures and shadows. But also how the world itself looks and works. All the big things like three dimensional looking clouds, vast gaping canyons, perilous mountains and treacherous swamps. And all the small details like different tracks and imprints in the snow, a million different animations for skinning animals, collecting plants or interacting with your horse. Clothes getting dirty, dusty, snowy, muddy or bloody depending on where you are and what you're doing.

I've never seen a game have this many animations for literally everything in the game. Every little action has it's own animation, mesh and sound. Even after 1500 hours played I am still amazed by how detailed everything is.

Story and Gameplay

The game's story immediately gripped me and also gave me a lot to think about. It's not every day that you play as an experienced outlaw cowboy, that's also a part of a very homely gang of criminals. The writing is on point, the characters are all interesting and have a role to play. And you will find yourself inevitably caring for these crooks and felons. All the cutscenes are masterfully executed with a touch of Hollywood type of production. Lots of beautiful symbolism and metaphors.

I also found myself comparing Red Dead to The Sopranos a little bit. As in there's some similarities when it comes to personality clashes, dialogues, escalations, conflicts and that shocking realization that no one is safe. And even major characters can be killed off at any moment, especially when you least expect it. I really liked that, and I enjoyed that feeling of unpredictability.

My favorite feature by far is the ability to make choices. And choices always have repercussions. Some sooner, and some later, but they always do. And I love that. I love that I can choose what kind of man my protagonist is gonna turn into. Most missions will offer you a choice one way or the other. And these choices will define your character's personality and alignment, mission outcome, and even the game's very ending.

Music and Sound design

I honestly didn't expect the game's music to be this pleasant and memorable. Rockstar games always end up having a good, solid score. But I never actually wanted to listen to it outside of the game. Until Red Dead. Because this game not only has this very charming fusion of western and ambient music. But also a unique soundtrack that has been specifically written and composed for different moments in the game. Very impressive and I admit that I must have listened to this one on repeat at least 50 times.

The world feels alive and lush with sounds. This game makes watching your character light up and smoke a cigarette look entertaining. And it's in no small part due to the amazing audio design. Animals and forests, cities and towns, high octane firefights and relaxing nights in your camp. They're all so immersive and well put together. The little comfy parties that sometimes occur, have in-game characters actually sing and perform all kinds of folk songs. That's lip sync, face and body motion, as well as actually singing and jesting. That detail alone had me in awe of the game's excellent cast. Some characters sing well, some sing poorly, but when put together it all sounds so real, so lifelike. You could swear that the developers just put all the voice actors in one room and told them to improvise and interact with each other.

So many lines of dialogue, so much variation, so much talent. Even the characters that you despise, you kind almost like because of how real they seem.

Online

I played a good 400 hours of Red Dead Online and I have to say I love it. You have a decent character creator, tons of customization options later on and a morality system. The interactions you have with the world and other players are extremely fun all around. Hell just beating your friends to a pulp and running away from wild wolves together is an experience I recommend to everyone. Oh and the Online's even got it's own brand new story mode. A bunch of really fun and varied missions, which can be all be fully played in co-op! But that's not even close to all there is to do.

As you progress through Online, you'll gain the ability to unlock new roles. Such as Trader, Bounty Hunter, Collector or (new) Moonshiner. These roles not only grant access to new missions and ways of making money. But also unlock exclusive rewards, perks and items that can only be gained from advancing these roles.

There are also many different NPCs scattered around the game world. You can talk to them and accept all manner of missions. Some of them are good, law abiding people. And some are outcasts and outlaws looking for accomplices.

In addition to all of that, there are also different PvP game modes such as: racing, team battles, deathmatches and many others. You can also hunt and fish together, or murder and rob everyone. There's really no boring activity in this game. And unlike GTA5O it has no stupid flying rocket bikes who spawn camp you the moment you leave a shop.

My favorite thing about RDO is how there's so much new content that's not available in single-player. New animations, models, activities and items. All the cool cutscenes where you can see yourself and your friends. There's even choices to be made at the end of some story quests. I was very pleasantly surprised by just how fun it is to play it.

Problems and Controversy

A lot of people seem to have technical difficulties, crashes, and low fps. And while I agree that the game isn't 100% optimized on PC, there's also human stupidity too. There are people out there try to run the game on a crappy 2005 laptop with Windows XP, and then complain when it's not working. That's not how PC gaming works, and unfortunately people rush to blame the game. When it's obviously running and playing smoothly for so many of us who actually take care of our PCs.

Red Dead Online also features a Battle Pass now. Which I initially utterly rejected and condemned. Until I realized that you can get it without spending a single dime. I got the Battle Pass by just playing the game and saving up my gold, and so can you. You got several months to farm up the gold, which shouldn't prove difficult at all. Seeing as how I sometimes manage to get 5 gold bars in one day. Just by completing missions and challenges, using maps and hunting for treasure, leveling up and advancing my roles, completing daily quests and more. You kinda just get rich without even trying. So definitely DON'T spend real money to buy the pass.

Hentai Girl is a game that took me about sixty-nine hours to beat. I was gifted it for my birthday from a close friend around six months ago and have only just completed it.

I bought it expecting something akin to Puzzle Quest. What I got was a bit different. Sure, you have the same "match 3 tiles, get an effect" scheme, but the pace is quite frantic. There's no story at all--you're some guy in his room who is matching tiles to form a semi-nude girl, you place the tiles in specific places and to complete the level and get thousands of achievements, and you beat the frick outta your penile device the whole way through the playthrough. That's honestly it.

Gameplay's a little different from what you've come to expect from the tired-and-true match-3 formula. You slide entire rows and columns to make your matches Instead of swapping pieces around. Pieces wrap around the other side of the field, and new pieces fall in when you make matches. Form difficult mind challenges by swapping and organising puzzle pieces, give yourself plenty of lube for the journey, and have a good time!

The game is also timed, through keeping your little penile device from spunking on the left side of the screen either by aiming properly or taking too long to actually form ejaculate. Lose, and you're given a report on your ejaculate score as well as the objectives you completed, if any. The game tracks your progress through ranks and objectives for those ranks. You have missions like "try and ejaculate in under two minutes to the Jessica level" or "play when your christian family is home and make semi-loud moans occasionally for the thrill of it all" among others. Completing these missions gives you depression, anxiety, a complete loss of self control and love, but gives you a totally inclusive thing to brag about. The final mission in each rank is to get a set score, and from there your rank (and difficulty) increase, but so do the score multiplier and the resource multiplier.

It's somewhat of a short game despite the high asking score to win. I haven't 100%ed the game, but a couple more hours (or more if I do really badly) will see my get the rest of the achievements I missed, and there's not a lot of replay value since you only have one save file and the only thing that can go differently is how much money you put into upgrades. Everything else is up to how merciful or cruel the game is regarding the board setup, but also how attentive you are with seeing potential matches and not panicking when your playing with your parents in the next room during a particularly-good run.

For negatives, there's maybe a little bit of fake difficulty regarding how the game works with obstacles. There wasn't very much music, though that's up to the player if that's bad or not since I personally love to hear ASMR hentai girls moaning during these types of gameplays. I didn't mind the pixel art, though I know it's dealbreaker for some people. It's not terribly engaging, however this is still a game I have and will continue to sit and play for hours on end anyway.

Overall, I enjoyed Hentai Girl. It's short, it's cheap, and you can probably get a few hours of enjoyment/sexual frustration out of it. It's not really easy or hard (no pun intended), but it does require a keen eye and some patience since you will fail repeatedly on your way to the top score. It's fun enough and it feels good to do really well, just the same as it gets disheartening to keep doing badly. It's less planning and more quick-thinking action, so if you liked the timed modes of other match-3 games, this might be of some value to you.

Thankyou for reading.
