Chess if it slapped.

Great for uncs like me who don’t want to learn to multitask and micro in RTS’, but like tactics with some long term strategic thankin’.

Also fun to see mechs shoot/burn/explode/punch each other.

I've been enjoying it after waiting years for a proper Ace Combat. The campaign is a solid love letter to the older games in the series, in future titles I hope the multiplayer gets fleshed out more.

This game was an incredible timesink throughout my adventures in PC gaming, I am having waves of nostalgia as I write this. To keep the review short (since this game is very old), this is, in my opinion, the best civilization game I've played. The game is much more chaotic than Civilization V, with armies able to occupy one tile. This leads to some frightening scenarios. For example, you could be minding your own buisness as a modern civilization, and then a horde of Mongolian trebuchets can decend upon your cities (this is from experience). Ultimately, I recommend at least looking at this game if you enjoy any other Civilization games, and as the best piece of DLC (in my opinion), this is the most valuable Civilization IV bit.
