What an amazing game. The art style is beautiful, and the story is heartfelt and genuine.

Gameplay is fairly repetitive as some other reviews have said, but it was no more or less than it needed to be. The combat serves as a way to give the player something to do between story beats, but is still enough to be enjoyable in its own right.

Took me just shy of 14 hours to complete my first ending, with 6 possible endings that I'm aware of.

Great Fallout-lite style game. Your actions have consequences, there's a small skill table (not tree, table), some item crafting, and plenty of "Investigations" to complete as your main source of objectives.
Runs well, looks gorgeous, the controls are decent. Combat for a large part of the game has a melee focus, that shifted to gunfights later on in my play through.

This game is crazy good. Beautiful graphics, fun (if occasionally janky) physics based combat, Shadow of the Colossus style boss fights but also a healthy variety of normal enemies, incredibly satisfying destruction and resource gathering to upgrade your equipment. Most importantly, it's only $40.

Amazing. Ran through the whole thing in one sitting and loved it. A couple fates were a nightmare to figure out though.

Good immersive sim, noir, fist fighting, stealth optional game with a really cool art style. However, you should be aware that as of 28 June 2024, 14 days after the Early Access release, there is only one chapter available, which took me about 3 hours of gameplay to complete on normal difficulty. There are at least 2 more chapters planned, and a level editor, so the value of this game will be way better when more content comes out, especially if they keep the 12USD price tag, though I do expect it to go up.

Fun game that preemptively copied Unrecord based on a few trailers. The price is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exorbitant though, given that there's only a few maps and no other content.

DLSS and Frame Generation cause the game to hit a black screen freeze on startup. Coincidentally, they're the features that make the game playable.

One of my favorite games of all time. My only complaint is that the story ended on a note that didn't really allow for a 4th installment, but it was also one of the most satisfying resolutions of any game I've played.

I've never felt so democratic

The game is beautiful, intense, and so much fun.

The monetization is absolutely predatory.
