No, seriously, bro, just hear me out, bro, please, bro.
The big thing is, and no one is prepared to admit this (just like the fact that all wine pretty much tastes the same): RAGE 2 has the best shooter mechanics of any game I've played in recent memory, just like DOOM 2016 was some of the coolest **** we've gotten to play since the first Crysis.
We can talk about the crap points of this game until the proverbial cattle come home but the fact remains that RAGE 2 is a great shooter if you simply ignore the MILE LONG, CENTIMETER DEEP, TRASH-A$$ story and blow up everything that breathes. All this game has going for it is the gunplay (and the Mad Max style road combat)
Buy it on sale.

MW5 is really fun but if you dare to modify your mod-list in the middle of the campaign, God help you.

I've never played a more fake game than Back 4 Blood.

The Zombie survival game that puts all others (*cough*7 Days To Die*cough*) to shame.

This has to be my all time favorite survival game; PZ has everything that others don't.

After a long hiatus the devs came back in full force to release a stable build with updated textures, mechanics, and Multiplayer! Honestly, the best thing about this game is the ability to survive the fother-mucking zombie apocalypse with your friends.

The Workshop alone is absolute gold, with the community pumping out loads of mods that only serve to add to either the realism of Project Zomboid, or the hilarity. Oh, and the devs pay attention! They've added several mods into the main mechanics of the game since the latest build, and the roadmap for future updates looks promising (NPCs, animals, traits/jobs reworking).

Just remember, death is a huge and unavoidable part of this game - learn from your mistakes. When your favorite character becomes bitten, don't be discouraged: you are now a glass cannon and you can do great things with your last few hours. Clear out a massive amount of the dead with a suicide attack and a propane bomb, save your friends from being overrun by spamming 'Q' and leading the Congo Line out into the wilderness. Do some good before you yourself become an ungodly force of gnashing teeth and unceasing hunger.

Most importantly, experiment with traits when building your character - get creative. You may be surprised how badass you are if you model your character as closely as you can to yourself IRL.

Awesome redux of the game but shame on them for switching voice actors.
