A large bear like creature, most likely a bear, wandered into my house in search of food or perhaps employment. (I died 10/10)

After completing it a second time I believe I can fully review this now.

I'll start off by not mentioning the horror, But the story. Coming form Dead space 1 to this the stroy flows through really nicely. Its a great story and like number 1 you find a lot of backstory about whats happening throughout.

The horror. Well In the begining its fantastic. A few nicely put jump scare moments and some really scary mecromorhps get your heart going and you find yourself scouring and survivng the best you can. As a con however near the end the horror looses its edge as it become more action non stop style. But its the end and its expected. The anticipation for the end of the story covers it nicely however and you dont really miss the horror at the end.

The comabt mechanics are spot on. All i can recommend is try using different weapons as much as possible. A lot of people say you will only use the pulse rifle and plasma cutter. But if you buy the other weapons you can have much more fun & they are more effective. Such as the javelin gun (A personal favorite).

Overall Its a 9.5/10 for me.

It is just a fantastic Game. I recommend you turn on ALL visual effects to enjoy this. Looking at the other reviews 1-2 hours on record of gameplay isn't enough to truly expereince this game. Round 12 + Is where people need to really review this game. If you want fast paced? This is it. Overall the controls are hard to get used to sure but for me a keyboard and mouse are absolutely fine. Once your past the learning cuve this game is a blast. Literally.

The ships look truly stunning flying past then with their cannons blasting the enemy fighters. And once you are in the higher round and the cruisers are fighting each other its becomes really fast paced. And you can choose to start at round 19 once you reach it and go from there to "Infinity". So it does give you the option to bypass the slower levels once you clear them.

All in All this game is a 10/10 for me. If you want a High paced Space shooter then this is for you. Graphically stunning and great game play.

Cons? Honestly if this had muliplayer I'd be on 300+ hours by now. Its a shame they never gave it the ability for online.
