good fun for a budget price

A fun Tarkov-like that's way more accessible! Great environment design, fun gunplay, interesting character models. The UI isn't a totally overwhelming mess. I'm into it.

Perhaps the finest example of a modern day immersive sim. Brilliant level design, systems that are so open you can truly play your own way.

Obviously an Immersive Sim classic. Still holds up too! Now on to Dishonored 2 :)

While the story is enough to drive the plot along, the real star of the show is the excellent and engaging combat and unique boss and enemy design. If you've never played a Souls before, this could be a great starting point. I have nearly finished the game, and found it (very) hard, but accessible with little opaque storytelling and waypoint techniques, which allowed me to play it, without guides or cheese.

A beautiful art style, and an interesting story. Worthy of all the awards it got! :)

I have really enjoyed Lair of the Clockwork God so far. Interesting puzzles, hilarious dialogue that doesn't overstep the mark into cringe. It's a real treat, especially for such a low price!

Actually good melee combat is few and far between and this hits it.
