“ Let’s play some good Dota 2”

What is it? & Why Should I Care?
Dota 2 is a 5v5 moba (massive online battle arena) with over a hundred of heroes to pick from. The objective is to destroy the other team’s base before they destroy yours. All the characters, map and items all feel as they all belong together. Plus the game does not feel old after awhile of playing, but always feels new due to the high amount of items, creeps and heroes.
It is a very well made game and I recommend others to play it.
( The scaling below is based on a 1-4. 1 is the worst and 4 is the best)

[4]Graphics-The characters of the game are all very well put together and designed according to their backgrounds. The textures are very smooth and non pixelated to show off the beauty of the map. Plus the shadowing in the game brings out the layout of the map and makes it pop out more. The items in the game are also outstanding and always being cleaned up or changed.

[3]Performance- The game runs very smoothly throughout one's match. It usually runs above 60 FPS (frames per seconds), but may dip at times if one's computer's cpu or graphics card is older. It does not take up a lot of memory and does not have any leaks. The game itself is not graphically intensive which does not hinder the game play. The game offers a variety of options so one can customize them accordingly .

[3]Sounds/Music- The quality of audio in the game is outstanding and is relevant to the events that are occurring on the screen. They also play at the correct times and rarely have malfunctions. The music in the game is taken from a real life orchestra and the hero’s voices are taken from actors. Each hero has a distinct voice and personality which causes them to stand out. The music may get boring after a while due to the fact it is limited and overplayed.

[4]GamePlay- The characters that are selected during a game are usually completely different than previous games. A player can either have a party and search for a game or may search solo and be placed with other people. The game may be a bit challenging in the beginning, but one will get used to it. The wait time is usually between 1-3 min before placed in a game, but once one is in the game it's a thrilling experience. The player is then put on a team( Radiant or Dire). Which then it is up to the player to figure out with their team how they are going to destroy the other team's base.

-Game will rarely drop below 60FPS
-Constantly getting updates

Cons
It may be tough for new players at the beginning
Music may be repetitive
Older computers will have a harder time running the game.
Wait times may be long

[3.5]Conclusion- The game scores a 3.5 overall. It is a delightful game to play and has a ton of replay ability. It may have some downs to it, but no video game is ever perfect because if there was there would only be one.
