Real talk, I wasn't planning on playing Marathon. I bounced off Arc Raiders HARD and typically stay away from hardcore shooters. But after playing the server slam, Marathon was just too damn good to pass up. The gameplay is tight, visuals unique, and the game systems push you to get over gear fear and embrace the carnage of it's quick, brutal PvP. It's honestly addicting, and I hope more people stop worrying about colours and learn to love Marathon.

Indonesian Stardew Valley (positive)

Fun gameplay and some of the characters are cool but the story goes ♥♥♥♥♥♥' nowhere.

Abandoned.

Very faithful adaption of one of the best boardgames ever made.

Digital Root doesn't replace the physical game for me, but the massively reduced downtime possible with digital gaming does provide a great testing environment for practicing new factions and strategies without needing to wrangle 3-4 friends for a 4 hour session.

Pretty fun in short bursts. Suffers from too many systems and currencies.

The game is pretty good HOWEVER:
- The NPCs in the campaign never stop yapping and say very little of value. Too many unskippable non-cutscene dialogue moments on the bridge between missions.
- Tyranids are only fun to fight in the beginning, it gets boring fairly quickly
- Chaos Marines are just as annoying to fight as the first game.
- Co-op is the only place with customization but it is a grind and has very few missions

Get it on sale.

Not bad. Good social atmosphere with some fun minigames, but half the players just play slots all day which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ depressing.

It's still good.
