If you enable secure boot and disable CSM in your bios, then enable core isolation memory integrity (which requires deleting all logitech drivers and messing around in regedit), it will still blue screen :)

I'm getting 60 fps on High settings on my old 1070 and i7 7700k. The first 10 hours are miserable (mostly cutscenes and a lot of the world is blocked off). Then it gets fun, pretty much the same thing as GTAV

Everyone's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for no reason. It progresses the campaign's difficulty, so it's still fun, it's not as difficult as everyone says it is. It's exactly what we wanted - an extension of the campaign. Complaints of the new gameplay mechanics boil down to calling it too difficult. Get good and the game is fun. If you play the campaign on Ultra Violence, it translated well to playing TAG1 on Ultra Violence. It's also lengthy enough to justify the price.

DOOM 2016 is unplayable after DOOM Eternal. Dashing seemed like a gimmick when the game introduces it to you, but it's now a fundamental tool. Dash and shotgun hook are two new ways to move that make DOOM 2016 feel slow in comparison. DOOM Eternal on Normal difficulty is basically DOOM 2016 on Ultra-Violence, if not more difficult. This is more fun. Resource management is real and the gameplay loop is way more developed. I don't understand how this game had worse reviews than the previous installment. The lore, style, levels, and most importantly gameplay were all cranked up 1,000,000%. The arenas have way more verticality than before, there's more air shooting, full use of every weapon at your disposal, demons are more varied, and the progression never stops. Simply put, DOOM Eternal curbstomps DOOM 2016.

The story and dialogue are pretty much on par with the main campaign. What makes it good is you get 7 or so more hours of the great Metro Exodus gameplay you're already familiar with.

This one's a real computer melter, I must have spent an hour just staring at the ground textures and puddles. The "open world" is more or less the "open world" you get in Destiny, still pretty linear, but I didn't mind that. Metro Exodus has more quicktime events or dull moments than the previous games. The crafting system made up for that though. Resources are still super limited, so being able to craft bullets and adjust your guns is satisfying. Some scenes were cringey as in the previous games, but the ending made up for it by wrapping up the plot really well.

The connection issues make this game unplayable. I'd be fine with it otherwise, but I can't actually play the game right now. Sessions get disconnected every 30 seconds, enemies don't shoot, co-op partners teleport all over the place. Wtf

Definitely better than the first game, great graphics, improved gameplay, etc.
BUT I was 3/4 through the game when I log in one day and find that all my progress is gone. I haven't touched my computer since the last play sessions, devs have no fix for it, there's no workaround.

The graphics and features are really good but the gameplay ends up being boring.

I played ranger survival difficulty and the scarcity of resources did not make it fun at all. Difficult to figure out puzzle sections without HUD - just resorted to spamming 'E'.

Counting your ammo without a HUD was cool though. The ammo models are accurate so if you see yourself load 2 shells into the shotgun and there's 1 already in there, you know you got 3 shells.

That being said, having only 3 shells really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. Definitely some parts of the game that are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you run out of ammo, resorting to running in circles wasting your couple of heals until your teammates shoot the monsters for you.

Overall a certainly unique and detailed game although just not fun.
