This game is a pretty fun, especially if you've got a solid crew to play with! The alien campaign is absolutely fantastic - crawling on walls and ceiling, stalking your prey, it just feels so satisfying.

Where this game really shines though is PvP with friends. You need like 6+ people to make it work the best, but when you do... it's chaotic fun. For you FPS fanatics: if the marines in your group keep dominating, try having them switch to controller instead of mouse and keyboard - might even the playing field a bit.

The DLC maps are genuinely scary because they're nice and dark... more atmospheric than the base maps. The PvE survival mode is pretty decent too - classic horde mode where waves of aliens just keep getting nastier. Perfect for when you want to team up against the AI instead of each other.

I'd definitely recommend this if you want a good Aliens vs Predator story to play through (don't expect it to be SUPER long, if you're competent with games it's kinda short), or if you need another whacky PvP game for your friend group. Just don't expect much from public servers - they seem usually much dead these days, but also the few times I've seen lobbies open, it's vets of the game who are cracked outta their minds.

TLDR: Gaem fun :)

PS: Game goes on sale relatively often, definitely worth in that case.

If you haven't played home world one and 2, play home world remastered collection. Significantly more enjoyable experience.... This isn't TERRIBLE... but I don't even feel like writing this review cause of how disappointed I am. If you've played the other games and want to try it... pick it up on sale to lessen the disappointment. Take care.

I've 100% Crab Champions three separate times as new achievements have been added. Fun gaem.

Fun time with friends for a few minutes. What few servers there are are abysmal. Ping issues, rubberband, sometimes you click and server side doesn't register you clicked to fire, people are actually like 10 feet away from where you see them, so you're both shooting at ghosts. Also, rather unfortunately, this game has a tendency to roll-back or forget your progress. So if you want to grind rank to show off some skins, you might be out of luck. Just get rolled back from level 37 to 20, and have all of your challenges reset. (So now, you have to get 100 double kills and 75 knife kills all on the same map. And there is no guarantee that it doesn't roll back one more, or even two more times. Very annoying.) Steam will remember some of your progress, but not all of it. But the game will remember less. So the amount of kills you have in game won't match what steam says, and neither matches reality. This may have something to do with epic cloud save vs steam cloud save (?)
Anyways. Kinda fun for like a party night, but too buggy to give money to.

This game is cool. Lots of downtime and exploration with cool visuals, but it's interrupted by sudden moments like dogfights after being interdicted - or having to frantically turn your ship around because you're about to be sucked into a black hole. The sound design is top-notch, and the experience translated into VR is otherworldly. Seriously - if you like VR, this is an experience you shouldn't miss out on. (You may want some joysticks)

Loved this game. Lots has changed, but I tend to play FPS games nowadays, so I don't have too strong of an opinion as to the changes. More complex than it used to be, by a lot. Also doesn't run so well on my 10 year old old pc as it used to.

Hard. Fun. Hope you like the music, be patient with your clicks. Probably should buy it on sale.

Perfect addicting rogue-like adventure. Easy to run on old laptops when you're traveling. Should you go outside and get some air instead? Probably... But why do that when you can board an enemy and open all the doors on your ship to suffocate anyone dumb enough to board you?

One of my all time favorite games. Fantastic RTS. Fantastic Story. Fantastic art and music. This game will be loved for a long time.

Cute little swarm battle game. Got it on sale for under 5$. Worth it, if you like autobattlers with a taste of strategy.

Impossible difficulty is actually close to impossible, have to be perfect with building comp near endgame. You will become increasingly frustrated with your Buggos while trying to get all of the achievements. Hardest part of the game for me was surviving to wave 50 in survival mode. The achievement is apt... All I know is pain.
