Backed this on Kickstarter and I've been enjoying it a lot. It has the vibes from old cRPGs (the danger, the mystery, the exploration) but with a more modern design. Highly recommended if that description sounds appealing.

Early Access Review
It's a cool online card battle where every faction feels distinct from the beginning. I started out with the orcs (that have some cool combos for summoning a crowd fast and chaining effects when one attacks), then I thought the necrons were cooler because I tried them on draft mode and I saw some nice combos where you're resurrecting your dead cards, and this happened a few times as I tried the other options.

Also, I like how in the game units have two attack stats (meele and ranged) and that's a "tiny" change that the game uses in many clever ways. There's a lot of space here to have fun trying new strategies.

A very fresh game that blends strategy and narrative. For those looking for something different.

I don't think Weird West is for everyone, but I had such an amazing time with it. Part immersive sim, part CRPG. It has a few rough edges around, but I was so glad to see so many brave design decisions. It's definetely memorable. If you're willing to take things slow and play along, this is a true gem. It's best to leave any expectations at the door and just enjoy the ride.

This is totally my jam. This game might not be for you but, if a speedrunning FPS with anime tropes and the aesthetics of a forgotten cult game from the Game Cube/PS2 era sounds appealing, then you'll love this.

Probably my favorite game of 2022. I couldn't stop until I finished the main story. I'm now busy collecting achievements (and discovering secrets). This game feels amazing. Just keep in mind that it's not for everyone.

It's a cool card game! It has a couple of twists that make it feel quite fresh and I had lots of fun with the events that are being constantly added through patches. I wasn't familiarised with the lore before playing but that wasn't an issue.

Aaaaaand the fact that you can't just get any card you want is pretty nice (so you won't just fight against the 3-4 meta decks match after match).

It's a narrative game with a light resource management layer on top that has a tabletop RPG feel. I had a great time with it. I wish the resource management part was a bit harder, but it's just not that kind of game. In any case, exploring the Eye and getting to know its citizens was amazing. The OST and the overall mood were amazing too.

Charming classic point and click adventure with a really cool setting and puzzles that don't feel random or unfair. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it has a lot of personality and you can see how they payed lots of attention to the smallest details. I'm having a great time with it.

I'm only three hours into Tenderfoot Tactics and I'm enjoying it so much. It was hard to stop playing, I kept wanting to explore more. This is one of those "not for everyone" games, but it totally clicked with me. There's no hand-holding at all and you're given lots of freedom. The game will explain the combat rules as well as some other mechanics, but that's it.

It gave me some Ultima vibes. You're dropped into a open world that isn't extremely detailed and you make your own way. Narrative is a bit abstract and you won't have a clear goal at first. It's all about travelling around with your party, customizing your goblins, discovering new things and understanding the environment.

I got Flat Heroes on both PC and console and it's just amazing. I thought this would be mainly a thing I played with friends, but I ended up having a blast completing the normal and the hard mode on my own. Controls are super tight, there are lots of levels and variety and it feels great. The game can get quite hard at some points, but stages are pretty short so it's rarely frustrating.

Really recommend it if you enjoy challenging platformer games.
