Early Access Review
This game isn't like the prior skates but its kinda fun just mindlessly messing around with strangers, climbing tall structures and doing challenges around the map.

My first competitive fighting game from 2017

I have many fond memories from this game playing it on the PS4.
From the tough combo challenge to the grim of abyss that gave me countless hours of fun.
The japanese players that kicked my ass to getting my first ever platinum.
Thank you Mori for such a great series.

I couldn't recommend this game enough if you want to get into fighting games.
And now with rollback. This game has gotten the love it deserves.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

I love this game alot, it's truly an amazing experience.
I played all the older djmax games leading up to this one. And this is truly the definite edition however there is issues with this game that I was fine overlooking but something more recent has caused me to write a bad review for this game. The Clear Pass

The Good

This game is great no doubt about it from the blazing tracks to the addictive gameplay. Totally worth the money to spend as you get lost for hours trying to get better at the game as time progress. Trying to unlock certain skins and songs for the game while at the same time honing improvement.
Excellent mode choices (air, freestyle, collection, online, etc...) that keeps you from boredom:

Air - A great small unique mode that lets you play songs live while reading others comments. Like a epic mix between podcast and livestream.

Free mode - Have fun trying to max out combos or play whatever song you like

Online - Battle against others in to seeing who gets the better score.

Mission - Play a collection of songs while having challenging tasks to do such as achieve certain score or being above a certain success rate percentage.

Collection - See your in game stats as well as look at art and see your achievements.

Sounds great but that's not why I wrote this review.

The Horrid

Anticheat <- This is such a crappy anticheat that kills potato pcs as it constantly uses the cpu to check you're not using any suspicious programs. It likely works but truly makes the game hard to play on pcs with weak cpus. Causing likely stuttering and other in game issues.

Expensive DLCs -> I myself have most of DJMAX dlc. I'm fine with purchasing as most of the songs in the dlcs have been in the past game and only to replay these tracks with new SC difficulties as well as a HD Background seems awesome. But for the price tag when not on sale can seems really not worth it. Mainly because of the amount of songs per pack.

Servers -> Because you always need to be online and connected to djmax servers if they go down then say goodbye to all the money you wasted on this or even the hours you put into it. Once this game is forgotten it's game over as all of your game progress is saved online to the cloud.

And really any other small issue would be here too but this isn't even the reason I'm writing this review either it's because of this

CLEAR PASS

Neowiz what the hell is wrong with you. Putting a damn battle pass from fortnite into this already money hungry game. I pay for the dlcs and i bought this overpriced game what the hell is wrong with you seriously. Now your just doing highway treason with making us also pay for a fortnite battle pass to access cosmetics that we won't probably naturally get in game. You just rid worth it progression now for us to pay premium to unlock said progression awards.

This is why I wrote this review because of this lame ass battle pass
It fine in game like fortnite as it's free and there is no dlc. I don't personally play fortnite but it's understandable there. But here is absolutely ridiculous

"That's rad!" - Judgement Kazzy-San

My personal favourite Yakuza game of all time with a brilliant soundtrack, exhilarating gameplay and a godly story. Truly a love letter to all previous Yakuza fans. And an excellent breaking point into the series for new fans as this game is a prequel to all events in the Yakuza franchise.
Developed on the old engine with mechanics similar to older Yakuza games and Kiwami. To truly show why this game series still rocks even in the modern era!

No spoilers but this game is epic
And remember "REAL YAKUZA ONLY USE A GAMEPAD!"
