This DLC sucks so far... The game requires you to do the same busy work of destroying a big ship a dozen of times as part of the main mission. It's just like the base game's main mission "concept".

Additionally, you now have a new way of traversing the universe, which is just as boring and controls just as badly as the existing jump mechanics. I normally love having proper ways of getting around without a game relying on fast travel points, but here, I wish you could just fast travel via a short loading time every where and not have to deal with this jank...

UPDATE:

Just finished it in 7 hours: Boring ship combat, boring gun combat, boring characters, boring story, boring missions and the worst offender: a ton of bugs including game breaking ones, how exiting!...

I hated the Shattered Space DLC, but now I wish this DLC would be just the same thing again because at least Shattered Space wasn't a lazy and boring drag...

Game runs really bad on my high end machine, even with newest graphics drivers; Battlefield 6 runs flawless on highest settings in comparison.

Gameplay-wise, I feel like there are quite a handful of too many half baked mechanics that just don't have any room to breathe as matches last for less than 10 minutes. Like for instance the enforcement of walls: This works in Rainbow Six Siege due to the round-based mode. Here it feels like just something to do in the first minute which doesn't matter as long as someone brings a rocket launcher with more than 1 rocket with them. Also, destroying crystals with your hammer is rhythm based. While it is not hard to stay in rhythm, it feels like like yet another mechanic that just exists in an attempt to have as many mechanics in a game as possible even though the actual game loop is really basic.

A modern classic, the smooth'ment is just beyond anything else.

As someone that grew up with a GameCube and GameBoy Advance, I get nostalgic feels for a time I never experienced. This is as weird, baffling, but awesome just like this game!

One of my favorite games in my childhood, and it still holds up today! It's gameplay is fun, the different boomerangs and environment add a lot of variety and the soundtrack slaps.

I especially like the Australian flair that shines through in the stages, voice acting and most importantly, the amazing soundtrack. Also, the sound effects are highly nostalgic for me.

I'm biased on this, but this is probably my favorite platformer of all time.
