The less you know, the better.

If you're into psychological horror, disturbing content and want to experience a great story, I cannot recommend it enough.

If you're on the fence about getting this game or not, just do it. It's not expensive and you will get a feel for whether you like it or not well within the 2 hour refund time limit. This game deserves all the recognition it gets and then some. Found this game through Albino's recent video on it where he called it one of his favorite games of all time. I've never been a big fan of this kind of turn based gameplay but his recommendation and as a big fan of skulls and general macabre/disturbing art the sick artstyle convinced me to pick it up and I haven't regretted it for a second.

The art, writing, atmosphere and story are absolutely fantastic, and as someone who hasn't had much interest in this kind of turn based rpg gameplay in the past I was very pleasantly surprised. The timeline showing the enemies' moves every turn adds a feeling of counterplay that I haven't felt before in a game like this, tracking the enemies' movements to minimize or outright dodge damage feels very satisfying to me.
The pigment mechanic is a very interesting addition I've personally not seen before, having to manage which enemies you attack and when, even not attacking at all some rounds adds an extra challenge without feeling unfair.

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said 1000 times already, just play it, it's great.

My only complaint is that there isn't more.


Don't get me wrong the game isn't short, it's got a good amount of content.
I just want more.
