I honestly don't understand all of the hate this game is getting. It's by no means perfect but it has everything one should expect from a bethesda game and more. The cities are small sure, but the level of detail and differences in every city really is amazing. Every NPC feels like they're serving a purpose and the amount of times I've walked by people having a actual insightful conversation really is something special. The dialog is a major upgrade when it comes to bethesda (plenty of new voice actors, and acutal emotion when it comes to the characters talking) The side quests seem diverse and entertaining (obviously there is some boring and duplicate questlines but, they seem to be quite rare) Not to mention, the ability to customize and build your own starship really does it for me.

The biggest complaint I have with this game is it's lack of substance. It seems like the developers didn't really know what to focus most of their effort into. By that I mean nothing really sticks out while you are playing this game. (The graphics while great aren't anything special, the gunplay is fun but lacks substance and most guns feel eerily similar to one another. Space battles are fun but don't really change over time. The music isn't bad but it certainly doesn't stand out either. The overall atmosphere this game has is great but not amazing) Basically nothing about this game is groundbreaking but it isn't bad or mediocre either. Overall a good-great game, but certainly no classic like skyrim.

This game has an amazing atmosphere. The music is fantastic and the graphics/visuals are relaxing even with such simple textures. You can play however you want and do whatever you want to upgrade your farm. Whether that's fishing, foraging, mining, or just planting as many crops as possible. I mean you can even get married and have a baby :3. It's really hard not to feel relaxed and happy while playing. Definitely one of the best games I have ever played.
