Its a good successor to the RTS genre. Campaign for GDF is just like the GDI Campaign in Tiberium Wars (literally ion cannon the temple = nuke the site, then aliens appear)

Positives:
- Controllable In-Game speed, I never though it was gonna be useful, but it actually helped during the campaign
- Doctrine system is good for campaign (it feels like starcraft 2), not much for skirmish due to the fast pace battles and (pretty unbalanced fights)
- Music is actually really good (but it plays while the cutscene is on going and it takes away from the intensity of the misison, I got used to a more cinematic type feel of briefing)
- Since its new to me the art styles aren't that discernable yet but there are some units I do love scrambler and drone trooper are the best unit in the game.
- Campaign solid 8/10, doing the DYN campaign next but taking it slow since multiplayer aint my thing.
- Voice acting is good, i've heard worse from other games but this is a 7/10

Negatives: (ONLY UI)
- I don't like the UI, I kept looking from left to right, up and down just trying to figure out
where are the units , the cash and even the intel
- AI pathing seems to be an issue but that's in all RTS games so you can ignore this
- UI is just all over the place, the cash and intel information should not be on the left side of the map, it should be under however if its a case of copyright then probably add a design to the floating text to make it noticable
- the special skills and the support powers are too small to even notice
- Superweapon usage should also be put on the support power once constructed not on the building itself (this isn't generals base game)

All in all its a really Great Game and i'm glad i got this on Sale, Can't wait for the third faction and hopefully more campaign missions even if it is DLC, but I do hope there would be more world building (the archive system in CNCTW would be a good baseline for text based world building that you can access every time you see a new unit, new structure, and by doing objectives)
