Pro's
- Excellent Art Design and Environmental Design
- Fantastic Soundtrack
- A cast of fairly good voice actors with some very impactful deliveries where it counts (most of the time)

The game is fairly short and inoffensive with some

Con's
- Gameplay
This game is 90% walking around an unsettling environment without any danger aside from failing QTE's as whenever there is a monster encounter it is VERY heavily telegraphed and follows one of two methods for the entire game. 1. Run away in a scripted chase until a cutscene starts or 2. Hide in hiding spots that make you invincible, throw distraction item, run to the next one, repeat. There is only one monster encounter I feel used this effectively (the monster on the deck) and the rest are painfully boring and lacking any real suspense due to the next reason

- Monster Design
The Monsters in this game, aside from the 2nd one again, are horribly uninspired flesh blob tentacle monsters which fall into the category of silly and unthreating or "What am I even supposed to be looking at" but not in a good creepy horror way, more of a toddler's sketch kind of way. During a certain chase scene in Admin I had to pause the game because I was laughing too hard at the design of the monster, it really is that silly at times.

- Themes
This game is totally lacking in any serious overall themes to its story beyond "Scary stuff happen", you are given absolutely nothing to go off of as to the what, why, and how of what is going on beyond that it is happening and that makes the game play like a series of side-quests with no really overarching story beyond "trying to survive". The psychological horror aspect is incredibly weak and is left mostly to a few hallucinations in the latter half that sum up to "I miss my wife, I wish I didn't make her want to divorce me, I love my kids"

- The Characters
I will challenge anyone who played this game to tell me about the characters in any depth, because outside of the main characters tragic backstory, the greedy mean foreman, and the best friend. Every character in this game acts almost identically with very little individual personality. This problem is remedied in the DLC but that carries over all of the other problems of the game and adds new ones.

- The Dialogue
Sometimes you will wish the M/C just shut the ♥♥♥♥ up, specifically during every monster encounter the M/C will narrate everything that is happening as if he's an anime side character with the same few lines of dialogue that even in the short 5-6 encounters you will have across the game you WILL get sick of.

- Lack of Context/Explanation
Good Horror leaves the best parts to the imagination, unfortunately this game leaves Everything up to it. It sets up terrifying ideas and concepts, hallucinations caused by the unnamed force/entity that is causing the games events, the monsters supposedly holding on to larger parts of their former selves, seeming time shenanigans (DLC only) and so on. So many things happen because it is "Scary" or looks cool and it at a point starts to feel like its happening because "its eldritch your not supposed to know and that's scary right?" But when nothing has context and everything is samey fleshblobs and pained screaming nothing really stands out.

Absolutely Unhinged in the best of ways. Its quite short with only an hour or two of playtime but is an absolute blast the whole way through where it manages to be both scary and hilarious all at once

If you are a new player and don't want to pay a truly ludicrous amount of money to have a fair playing field at the minimum this game is not for you.

This game has over 300$ of DLC content and purchasing it doesn't even get you the full content as you have to grind considerably to rank up your perks to a usable level and to be usable on the characters you enjoy. This game is horrendously unbalanced and pay to win especially for newer players.

The Dev team is remarkably incompetent and does not listen to player feedback for years after issues are relevant. The game is caught in a constant 6-8 month cycle of the new pay to win meta perks dominating then they're nerfed into the ground to make way for the new meta perks. Other reviews have said it much better than me, but this game is not for new players and not for people that don't want to spend ludicrous amounts of time to even enjoy the game at a base level
