Too many core mechanics don't matter. You basically just press a button to auto walk to a monster, play a hack and slash, and repeat the process over and over again. There is a solid base here but the level of challenge or decision making is essentially zero because monsters don't do any damage, and there is no prep work required.

This is a good game to play while waiting for gta 5
