Destiny 2 was, and arguably still is one of my favorite games of all time. The gunplay has always been one of the main reasons I would keep coming back, although with the game being on its upcoming last update, I can't say I didn't see this coming. Bungie has screwed up many times over the years, but after TFS, the game has come to an almost irredeemable point. The aggressive monetization, the content vault, and of course, pete parsons and his 25 cars are some of the big things that got us here, but many others have said what I think on that and more, so I won't rehash it here.

What I can say is that this game changed my life. It has been part of my life for over half of it, and I can't say I regret that time. Even in its driest moments, the people I would play with, the community around the game, and the devs that genuinely did care made this game magical to me. I still remember my first raid, meeting someone who would go on to become a great friend in the LFG mines. It's been a wild ride.

To anyone who would want to pick up this game, be aware that it is not the same game it used to be. It is fun, the gunplay is great, but a lot of the old story is unfortunately lost for one reason or another, and the only real way to find it is through lore videos on youtube (MyNameIsByf is a great person for it). But if you want to give it a shot, I say go for it. The game's free(ish), it's worth it to give it an honest try.

And to those of you who are simply reading the reviews after todays news, it's been a wonderful time playing with you all. Thank you all for making this game what it was to me.
