In a different reality this review may not exist, this game may not exist, and YOU may not exist.

Now that we have that existential crisis outta the way, it's always good when you have an existential crisis brought on by a game.

Next stop, Nihilism.

Oh look a nice puzzle game that teaches you about history. It's also got a nice art style and likable characters. There's no way this can be sad even though it's about one of the greatest conflicts in human history.

Guess. Again.

Play through the entirety of it without spoiling it first and then come back and say it won't be sad.

Relatively short, but that doesn't matter. I'm still recovering from it and haven't been able to touch it yet because the first playthrough hit so hard.

Never thought a game with simple pixel design could get to a point where there's so much going on it decides to drop FPS to 5, but I take that as an absolute win.

Chaotic Good in its best form with a surprisingly deep story when you begin to read into it more.

WHERE IS YOUR POWER ARMOR?

You know what they say: War, War never changes.

Games do through their developers though.
It took what the original did right and made it better while realising where it went wrong and improving upon it.

Do you have Thalassophobia?
Would you like Thalassophobia?

It's basically Minecraft underwater, except the cave sounds are a lot scarier and underwater nobody can hear you scream.

Think of FTL with more detail, a longer story, and a hellofa lot more stress. The story and art style of Crying Suns is pretty damn breathtaking, when ya get past the difficulty increasing as you go along, but it's one of those things that age well because you want to always come back to it. Just a taste will leave you wanting more, and the different chapters each bring a new challenge, hell I'm only like halfway through or so on 18 hours, and I still feel like I've got so much more to discover. It has really great replayability too, which is kinda rare these days.

Highly relaxing and calming game with achievements that are relatively easy to get if you're into them. If you need some time to unwind and chill with some calming music, this is definitely the game for you. The color scheme is also highly pleasing.

Practically Gmod, but in SPACE! Really fun, you can go mining, battling, or build a space station with your friends.
