What a ride! Every match is fun, even as a solo when things don't go your way it is pretty obvious how to improve. The basic game itself is simple, its an extraction shooter. HOWEVER, its an extraction shooter that would make Indiana Jones Cry back to whatever cave they left his Dad in.

I am talking 19th century weaponry. You may SEE that enemy squad in the building next to you, but do you think you stand a chance with you measly six bullets? No Sir and or Madame, you better grab that jar full of homing, poisonous bees and toss it their way to even the board a little bit.
But wait! you also remember that you have some flammable traps, and there is oil all over the bottom floor of the building you are so easily calling "safety". As the enemy rushes and pushes, thinking it is just one cheeky solo, you hear a flare go off, the basement ignites, and with two very audible death sounds, you survived your first ambush.

Now just watch out for the 15 zombies that heard all that, dodge the hulking mass that once looked like a man, but is now clearly just a monster created only to torture you when you make your way to extraction.

Get this game! as a big fan of "Wait until a sale" this game has NEVER been on that list. This game clearly has a lot of passion behind it. The atmosphere is unbeatable.

relaxing game, solid memories. If you are not looking to play anything too stressful this can be your game. I really like to hop on just for the parlor games, easy money and conversation.

An absolute recommend. What started as a buggy mess grew into the pinnacle of Halo gaming today.

The Campaign is a must for any Science Fiction fan, or any newer generation gamer looking to see what your Uncles were arguing about last holiday. The soundtrack to each campaign has a very strong identity, while still remaining true to what makes the magic of sci-fi feel so awe inspiring. There are moments in the campaigns that will show some age, not to mention some really good horror vibes when a specific space weapon is near. But the best part about Halo is that each game has such fun Identity in each experience while still remaining what we love, even if some of us have differing opinions on sprinting in shooters.
As a die hard fan, I urge you to give theses games a go, especially on a sale.

P.S. ODST and its soundtrack are an incredible experience. Break your comfort zone, get into space jazz.

This has to be some of the best fun I have had in a "Massive warfare" style game. Small squads can make a difference, but when larger groups work together it is very entertaining.

Fantastic sequel. It hits all the notes that should be struck, as well as giving you a solid amount of gameplay even after the completion of the story.

The story itself creates a strong amount of compelling cliffhangers to make you say " Just one more level..." before bedtime.I can not stress enough how well the soundtrack is timed and the general joy this series continues to bring me. I would recommend this to any fans of singleplayer FPS fans.

How is this still on the market? It does not work, crashes almost constantly, and does not even feel like a SH game. It was fun back in the 360/PS3 era, but there is nothing even worth your time on the "PC port". It will never be fixed, the devs certainly don't care. Forty bucks? Get outta town man.

Edit: There is a fan made patch. However, since my last review I picked up a copy of this for my 360 and played it through. I can not think of a worse Silent Hill game other than that arcadey junk that came out on the PSVITA. AND EVEN THEN- You would still have more fun playing that on a bus full of explosive monkeys than this. If i had to describe the story, it would be similar to your grandma telling you "How bad it was in their day."

Not my style. Granted, I really did not give it much of a chance, but from the beginning I had no clue what the hell was going on. I see a lot of people that praise this game though, so maybe I am missing something.
