Hours of content and possibilities. Characters are well developed and interesting. Developers love their game and their players.

Every class feels unique and has its own identity. The game play loop is somewhat repetitive but I genuinely enjoy playing each class so much that it doesn't bother me. Endgame will consist of pursuing the perfect roll on your weapons, developing different builds between each class, and working towards obtaining cosmetics locked behind achievements (some are also purchasable from the shop). I think this game is best played with friends but I don't mind matchmaking into games as well.

Prior knowledge to the Warhammer franchise and its lore may further improve your experience but isn't entirely necessary to enjoy the game. Personally I've only ever played a game with miniatures once in my life. I received this game as a gift from a friend but can wholeheartedly endorse this game to others.

I've been playing for 3ish weeks and it's all I've played in that time. I wasn't excepting the game to be so open to new players and the community has been very warm, welcoming, and encouraging. The game isn't pay to win and your advancements feel real and satisfying. There are so many different ways to get stronger beyond just getting better weapons and I really enjoy that fantasy of finding new equipment to complement your weapons. Admittedly this equipment can only be used in certain areas but it feels satisfying nonetheless. I don't want to get too specific and spoil what you can get but I think one of the first things you'll be looking to acquire will be a sort of hoverboard...

Update:
I've been playing for 9 months. I'm MR 28, soon to be MR 29. I've truly immersed myself in this game and and can affirmatively say that this is a must play game. This is basically a AAA title for free without predatory microtransactions. You CAN pay for new warframes and guns but you don't have to. You can earn the premium currency by trading with other players who choose to spend money on the game. I have almost every warframe and some of the best guns and I hadn't paid a cent until I decided that I loved this game enough to support it and spent about $10.00 on cosmetics. If you like PvP, this isn't the game for you. PvP really isn't a focus in this game, it exists but no one really plays it. In conclusion, the amount of content available to you in this game without the developers ever asking you to pay for a DLC or any microtransactions is staggering. Simply put: this game is just fun.

Update 2: Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary. I have just reached Legendary Rank 1. I have only ever spent money on cosmetics, never on progression. You'll have to learn to play the market if you want to play F2P but it can be done and I have done it. I highly recommend playing this game.

Update 3: 2 year anniversary; max mastery rank go brrrrrrrrrrrrr. Still a great game.

Update 4: "And Alexander wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer." As of this final update, I have 100%'d EVERYTHING that can be currently accomplished in this game. Every piece of equipment fully mastered, one of every mod, fully leveled with endo (including the conclave ones), one of every arcane fully leveled, all offerings of every syndicate completely purchased (yes, including conclave), a completed codex of every enemy/object that can be scanned, every achievement, every superboss glyph, every peely pix fully leveled, and every Easter egg that I could find (John Prodman poster, all Ludoplex hidden posters/rewards, etc.). I can truly say that I've done it all. Of course, this isn't the end. I'll keep playing and progressing as new challenges are added, but I believe this will my final Steam update. Three days from now marks my 4-year anniversary, and what a ride it's been...

Thank you, Digital Extremes, for loving this game as much as we do.

It's clear the developer's love this game and it's community. Unlike a lot of other games, this one doesn't try to exploit you or make itself a platform for monetization. It's core gameplay loop is simple but fun. This game deserves top marks all around.

I've played Destiny 2 since it came out and started playing Destiny 1 in November of 2014. Honestly Destiny 2 is a hit or miss for a lot of people but I would absolutely recommend trying the game out. It's a good mix of a sci-fi shooter and a MMO in a unconventional sense. Its fun to grow your power, explore the world, unlock new weapons, etc. The downside is that this game is hard to enjoy without friends. I would recommend playing with someone else or to join a clan/community in order to get the maximum enjoyment out of Destiny 2.

Personally, I really enjoy the story the Bungie has written and I love exploring the worlds they've created. I've been around to see a lot of controversies and a lot of changes. Sometimes you like the changes and sometimes you don't. What matters is that, in my opinion, Bungie puts the players first. They're always looking to improve the game for the benefit of the community and we, the community, help by voicing what we think needs to be changed or adjusted. Of all the games I've ever played, Destiny is the only one that has had its hooks in me since the day I bought it. My personal rating is 11/10, I love this game so much!

Edit (6/26/2021): My review stands 1,200 hours later.
Edit (2/20/2022): Yup, I still feel the same even 2,600 hours later. Sometimes it's good to take a break but at the end of the day, this game has a special place in my heart.

Steal from banks: go in loud, or take a stealthy approach. Payday 2 is a lot of fun and the story is kinda attractive as well!
