An unfortunate reality for many people is the phenomenon of losing friends as one ages and goes up in the world. Lints was no exception; his friends from years past were either moving onto greater things in greater places, or fading away through dishonor and crime. To his immense dismay, Anthony was soon to lose another dear friend: Tim. The artilleryman’s deployment into Afghanistan was fast approaching, and Tony saw fit to celebrate their friendship for what he believed to be the last time. Tim was invited to Anthony’s home for a last supper. Lints had prepared a feast of pizza, spaghetti, and cheap whiskey. Upon hearing a car roll into his home’s driveway, Tony leapt to his feet and ran outside. Tim hadn’t even exited his car before Lints tried to hug him.

Both were excited to see each other, albeit for a final time. They went inside and sat at Lints’ dinner table, where he began devouring the delicious banquet. In between slices of pizza, they were reminiscing about past deeds and times. “Remember that fatass I took the comic book from? Well I hear he’s gone into Paganism now,” remarked Anthony. Tim cracked up and shook his head. “Maybe he’ll find a good potion seller to help him channel the power of the Nether Reaches, or some ♥♥♥♥. He’s a real piece of work.” The two friends then shoveled in mouthfuls of spaghetti. With the food gone, only the cheap whiskey remained. Anthony popped the cork off of his bottle and slid another Tim’s way. They both took a sip, and Lints sat still as he smacked his lips to his fine beverage. “I love cheap whiskey!” he exclaimed as he belched. “Oh man I remember my favorite trick! I’ll be back!” said Anthony as he left the dining room.

Tim sat giddy with anticipation for a few minutes, waiting for his dear friend. Lints returned with whiskey bottle and lighter in one hand, and a peculiar object in the other. The artilleryman saw a what appeared to be a very wide-yet-blunt bullet, covered in black with portions glowing a mysterious RED light. “Hold onto your ass!” Tony stated as he clamped his jaws around the rounded end of the slug and yanked its cap off. He then lifted both of his arms above his head, and pointed his visage upwards, mouth agape. As whiskey fell from the bottle into Lints’ mouth, so did a shower of small, dark grains from the decapped grenade. The bottle and slug emptied, Lints shut his maw and looked back to Tim with eyes ablaze, swishing his mouth furiously. Finally, he took the lighter to his face, ignited it, and ejected the concoction from inside his skull into the air above the small flame.

It was as if thunder had struck down into Lints’ dining room. Tim was thrusted back in his chair, which rammed into a wall and broke into pieces. He shut his eyes as they began to sting from contact with the blasted air. He clamped his hands around his nose and mouth after inhaling the burning gasses. Several minutes passed before Tim could begin to perceive his changed environment. Through a thin veil of smoke, he saw the windows of the dining room devoid of glass, cupboards and cabinets broken to pieces, and Lints’ body slumped against the cracked wall with a satisfied grin on his face. With joints aching, the artilleryman stood up and limped over to Anthony, who smirked and let out with a cough, “Wrecked!” “How the ♥♥♥♥ did you do that?” Tim gasped. “That’s good scrumpy!” he replied.

Tim was later deployed to Afghanistan to assist his brothers in arms in the fight against terror. He was able to help eliminate key insurgent bases and other forces, partly thanks to a special explosive he claims he developed in the United States with a friend. Inside strange, bullet-shaped objects with RED lights, Tim reports, is a mixture of gunpowder and a “very special ingredient” that can detonate into particularly powerful explosions for such a small munition. With this creation, Tim may be able to secure Afghanistan and truly free its citizens.
