I really wanted to love this game, it runs great on steam deck but I think it was made for key and mouse. The controlling in this game is so unforgiving not even talking about aim assist or lack of IDK what it is exactly but I can't not get pass the first level playing on controller so it will sit forever. Might be a skill issue but I'm positive playing with controller adds an extra brutal difficulty to it rather than just click heads. This is the only fps game I haven't been able to progress so I'm curious if controller players feel this too. Still glad I own it but I only recommended buying if you play on key and mouse

9/10 Almost the perfect THPS Package. Everything in the base game is great. The Classic mode looks and feels fresh and replayable with over 2 dozen Skaters. Create a Park is revamped and improved in some places, Multiplayer is active and the new challenges and unlockables add for a lot of replay value although the grind to lvl 100 and it's unlockables are gonna be tough for causals which gets to my gripes with the game.

This game high point for me was the create a park, THUG's C.a.P peaked but this game improves with smart malleable basic park pieces, but lacks in making your own gaps, lava, water, pungee pits, THUG's Create a goal system, and instead it has a bunch of lack luster non skateable props when theres better assets to grab from the game and the best ones dont unlock till lvl 90+. I just Imagine hosting parties in your improved create a park with collect combo lines and Skate and combing all the create a goals in your own full classic and run creating more full Tony Hawk campaign style levels making endless content for the community. I feel like there could even be a multiplayer speed run mode in custom parks to see who completes the most goals, it just had so much hidden potential for being the last release we probably get in the series.

Enough ranting, it's sad Vicarious got merged and we prob won't get 3+4 but I hope The mod community or a new game really runs with the Create A Park/Goal/Gap feature and runs with it. Also game modes like Tag and Horse are split screen only not even online 1v1. Felt like there could of been more game modes for customs parks. Runs well on Steam Deck and it plays offline. Those are the only things stopping this from being peak THPS for me. If you read this far feel free to add me for co-op, I'm hosting parties in my create a park and want to get fuller parties for multiplayer in custom parks.

Best Loot and Shoot best on Mute.
Peak Borderlands game/gunplay, cool classes and even crazier loot. It has the weakest story out of the 4 main games but all Borderlands campaigns have a fun replay loop beating them on higher difficulties, different classes and mayhem modes which makes for a chill or challenging go to game to drop in with a friend for those classic Borderlands co-op vibes with better gameplay. Also after you beat 1 story mode playthrough, just turn on game subtitles and listen to YouTube while you loot and shoot, the true definitive Borderlands 3 play style. Voice acting isn't bad but writing is cringe but it's funny to at it instead of with it. It's pretty funny to hate on Ava's big head ass too.

Borderlands 2 is still my favorite out of the series being the complete package story wise but Borderlands 3 is still worth playing if you haven't yet and were a fan of the previous games. Pretty cheap on sale and still active online, an easy go to for the loot and shoot listen to YouTube game, a compliment in the best way possible.

9/10 overall, 250+ hours on my first playthrough and Worth being the first game I ever preordered. Wouldn't get it full price because of the paywalled difficulty options and new game plus for an already easy game.

Having only played Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1 and Like a Dragon before hand and being in the Yakuza Meme community, the story was still easy to follow and not to spoiler-ish for the previous games and I can't wait to replay Infinite Wealth again after continuing the series.

This being my 3rd turn based JRPG after the first Like A Dragon and 3rd Gen Pokemon/GBA hacks, it brought back vibes I've missed but with the adult edge and charm of the Yakuza series, it has everything I'd want out of the genre, A party with real bonds and memorable moments, tactical zany imagination yet grounded in reality action and feel. The wide range of emotion you get with Yakuza/RGG writing, The weapons, minigames, shiny collectathon, the trippy acid washed colors of the Hawaii battles, Cruising along the maps with the gang blasting new and old hits on the in game mp3 player, Spending too much time on my Island and filling every spot that will fit aesthetically. Some of the best Substories yet.

The first Like a Dragon walked so Infinite Wealth could run. All the improvements blow the previous game out of the water with really the main thing I'd go back to Y:7 for is the story and Dragon Kart. This is the game that got me into turn based JRPGs and can't wait to try the other greats and see where the Like A Dragon Series progresses. Thankfully Post game enemies scale to your level and there's still incentive to max out your levels, bond to 100 but more post game content out side of the Big Swell dlc would of great. Overall highly recommend. Still one of my favorites games of all time.

The best Bang for your Buck Boomer Shooter Ever. An amazing cinematic campaign with 25 replayable good size levels to 100% with 2 types of collectables that unlock new cool secret levels and cheats. Arcade mode turns the story levels into a classic mode, limited lives, sKillshot point based speedrun for leaderboard ranking. Endless mode which is an arena switching survival mode that now has co-op and custom user made levels that hopefully get co-op support in the future making it truly "Endless". And finally the Godly Level Editor worth a full price buy alone.
Can't forgot the amazing photo mode with great extra setting and toggable poses worthy of a Johnny Turbo action figure.

Almost 200 hours in and I've only played 1/3 of all the content because I've been obsessed with the level editor since day one, already putting out 2 great levels out so far, and with the level editor being in the early stages it's already one of the best and its still improving. We still get updates, fixes and even a new dev made map recently for Endless Co-op so I can't wait to see the game and community grows to its peak for more endless co-op and improved custom levels. Seriously one of the best of it's kind and easy to use and run on the Steam Deck. This game is already a 10/10 for the price but if we get endless co-op for custom levels and possible campaign then this game would have everything I'd want out of it. Absolute must have, even has a demo which is what sold me outside of seeing the level editor.

Fell in love with the game, art style, gunplay and feel after the first two hours exploring the first 2 main and survival mode arena levels, then spent the next 60 hours of playtime killing and creating in my own lil sandbox of chaos with the almost perfect level editor. Even without keyboard and using the steam decks 4 back button hotkeys placing assets, creating and uploading levels to the workshop is easy and adds so much more content to the game. One of the best boomer shooters and Postal games, that combines the dark/low brow humor, warps chunky 90s silent hill PS1 aesthetic with the funny yet grotesque enemies and cool heelscapes of the dudes mind and Ludacris weaponry crammed into a blender with other substances to make a bloody, chunky smoothie of fast fps low brow action with a bit of every thing, bones and all.

Only con I have with the game is a bug with the level editor that I hope gets fixed eventually. It seems that only in the level editor made levels or at least mine and the ones I played, enemies are able to walk and shoot through half or most common walls like of houses. Also randomly sometimes in combat you won't be able to shoot until you swap weapons and keep firing till you can shoot again but enemies wont attack you while you aren't able to. Those two bugs are the only ones I encounter and only occur in the level editor made levels and not anywhere else in game. While still playable, it mess up level building and makes adds unwanted difficulty. I only stress those because that's where majority of my time spent is going from creating straight to testing in the level editor. The base game is already a 9/10 and with the potential to have one of the best level editor with this style in the genre would make it perfect. Here's hoping to those fixes coming eventually, still recommend for the base campaign and survival side mode, the editor was just a huge plus.

Growing up having only owned Black Ops 2/3 & Ghost. Playing Black Ops 3 on the Steam Deck brings back those nostalgic days of team death match and zombies on PS3. Black Ops 3 is a great game mainly due to custom zombies which is 80% of my playtime. With the continuous stream of workshop content and still active player base. I think it makes for the definitive Zombies game. If youre Into C.o.D. Zombies then the 8 classic map dlc may be worth getting on sale, it's a good selection and you'll find more matches.

The online multiplayer is fun to jump in everynow and then if you can find a game with no cheating try hard hackers but I usually just run a quick game with hardened/veteran bots to get my fix. Funnily half of the multiplayer maps feel like throwback remixes to Black Ops 2 maps which is a cool touch. Can't speak much on the campaign, will finish it someday but didn't pull me in like the former ones, but not bad so far. Last but not least you got 3 more games modes, the returning Dead Ops arcade, Free Run & Nightmare mode adding a lil sum extra to try. With 6 game modes, ongoing workshop content and fun co-op I can definitely recommend this game especially now that the update fixed it for the Steam Deck which it runs great on again. This is also one of the fps to play online on the steam deck to make friends for co-op. I think I bought it with the 8 dlc maps added for $20 total and the workshop definitely makes it worth it. 7/10

8/10 Base game, but nearly perfect with mods

Having played almost all the main big Skating games from THPS1 to Session including all the PS1,PS2, & PS3 era forgotten/clones (except Skate 1 and Skater XL) all in the past 2 years, Session is slowly making it's way to my most played game on steam just a few months after starting PC gaming with my Steam Deck and has been a daily go to since.

I bought Session on sale for $17 for almost half of what Skater XL's lowest $32 sale been, and Sessions offers great vanilla content with a cool story mode, hard historical and nice daily challenges, a great replay editor, about a dozen great maps with DIY potential and a fun skate sim experience with lots customizable settings. I put about 60 hours causally enjoying vanilla game before easily modding it and with mods it's nearly perfect and runs great on the Steam Deck. With mods you mainly get all new custom gear, bug fixes, and new custom maps that rival the base game and with a thriving community and a little know how, you can make or get your own gear in the game while skating in your favorite map you helped make, adding to it with custom DIY object droppers to have a park editor mode in your favorite custom parks. The potential for the game with the community is endless, making this one of my favorite games to chill with on the Steam deck DIY editing parks, listening to music and getting clips.

The only things needed from Creature to add to the game that would make it finished & perfect 10/10 are

1. More tricks, Vert, Grabs, More animations
fix messed up animations, Caveman, Throwdown

2. Cloud saves!
I reinstalled the game and had to start my game from scratch, took 2 days to grind out the story mode but still, add that.

3. Unlimited DIY Dropper!
Why are some in store DIY objects set to Max 1 or 3 etc. Give us Max 50 -100 or unlimited amount that we still buy, that way there's more things to spend money on & with that you basically have a full park editor.

4. Online/Multiplayer, Quality of Life, Photos!!
Honestly if points 1- 3 get done, It'd be great enough for me but even if we can or can't get multiplayer, it'd be nice to still have more online aspects connecting the community. Maybe have the TV or laptop in the apartment be where you can view all your skate clips sorted by their map location, (instead of having to be at that specific map), upload clips and view other community clips, comment etc. Also you could have an option to have a social menu there where you can have your uploaded steam screenshots from your game uploaded in-game for others to see. I think the film editor brings a lot of replayability so having a photo editor too with magazine covers and other filters could add alot. You could then use the photos as posters in the apartment and have some new photo shoot missions to introduce it in an update would be dope.

TL:DR If interested in skate games at all, I'd highly recommend it especially if it's on sale for $25 or less, definitely worth it with mods. If you were a fan of Skate or Tony Hawk but want something more realistic & customizable, then modded Session is for you. Damn near perfect game for me and the best street skate sim yet.
