Good game needs some work. Runs like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DREAM tho.

Realistically I think the direction you need to go is kind of messed up. I walked around the border of all the maps and couldn't figure out how to get to new zones. Feels like the maps are pretty dead wherever you go. Bots turn into John Wick and start hitting you like 300 meters (or however far it takes to be less than 10 pixels on a 2k monitor) with a pistol.

Need the maps to feel a bit spookier. I want to feel some heat when I step outside but I don't want to get lasered from Narnia. Probably increase the spawn count on enemies and dial their aggro range down a bit.

Probably is getting advertised to the wrong people, as well as having scuffed mechanics for the audience it needs. The concepts are there, but the mechanics are not.

Examples:
The concept of a big map and respawn timers makes sense. The existence of large spaces to encourage splitting up is good. The large map encourages skirmishing between players so that you can take the major loot spots.

The issue with it is that there are no special loot spots in general. All of the major objectives just have big loot that is the same. There is no reason to contest it if you loot all the small spots, as you will have equivalent gear. There needs to be more for you to progress through early.

Another issue is that respawn timers don't do anything. Picking someone should give you prio for an objective, but it doesn't due to the timers being too low. I would suggest increasing timers, eliminating the ability for people to destroy respawns except for certain characters/special items, and increasing the amount of objectives on the map.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The actual gameplay doesn't feel rewarding for individual play. The characters that are supposed to be aggressive don't do enough to justify picking them. Scarlet is a good example, as her kit doesn't really do enough to fit the assassin/burst damage that the archetype is supposed to do.

Also, in general, it feels like regular weapon damage can match character abilities, which is shouldn't. Getting out dps'd in a Scarlet ult vs someone with a regular weapon just completely undermines the point.

Overall Condor is probably the best character in the game to fit the gameplay style that is encouraged. It gives you true vision on anything near her regular ability. While that would normally mean she is good, given what the game is going for it does not.

In general, the characters don't matter compared to the weapons you have. You can purely outplay someone with a gun and movement even if they are on roughly the same level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I covered this already but lastly, the progression does not go far enough. The inability to get real rewards for early play makes it so farming is optional. If there was something for you to go for, like a tier 3 on first round, it would make sense for you to engage with map control mechanics.

There really just needs to be more for you to do on the map. If it was possible to win a game or get insane benefits for interacting with map objectives then it would increase depth substantially.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This game essentially needs to be turned into a shooter MOBA if they want to hold water. There is nothing to improve at other that aim and light mechanics. Make the game a little more deep and it will be a slam dunk.

As the 786,113th review, I will say much of the same. This application isn't just good, its necessary.

The game is only challenging because the controls are terrible. Everything the AI does to you happens instantly and anything you do to fix it happens over the course of 10 minutes.

Recommend but also don't.
The building in this game is atrocious, and something that I don't wish for any human being to suffer.
However,
This game has the PvP that would make ARK fun.

Game looks great, is super scary, and has generally a good progression system from what I have seen. Though I have little time in the game I know that it is good. There is one issue though.
The game is dead.
1400 people is not enough to keep a game going, even if you are experienced and get a match every so often
