This release was pretty bad when it first came out but thanks to a rapid response by the devs it is now in a decent state. I would argue that it's still an inferior version to the original, but if you're nostalgic for Tomba 2 and want to experience it again, I'd say it's worth it to buy this.

Some drawbacks of this version that are still present after the update are:

• You're limited to just 3 saves per version of the game.
  
  
• The native settings menu was replaced by one that lacks quite a few of the original's options (separate volume sliders for music and sound effects, text speed options, a toggle for voice acting)
  
  
• Sound effect and voice line quality is slightly worse than the original

This list used to be a lot longer. Thankfully most other issues were fixed.

Consistently amazing from start to finish. A truly unique experience that I will remember and cherish for a very long time.
