Cast n Chill

Very chill (as it says in the name) and had a great time progressing in the game to catch some of the larger fish, as well as bask in the visual mastery that is this game.

I recommend it for anyone looking for a calm, cosy and beautiful game, its nothing spectacular or extravagant but its a simple game with incredibly well done visual pixel graphics.

No issues experienced and just pure blissfulness.

Hotel Hideaway

I've been playing for almost a decade and honestly, Hotel Hideaway is one of those rare social games that manages to blend creativity, community, and style into a truly fun experience. From the moment you step into the virtual hotel, you’re greeted with vibrant rooms, quirky characters, and endless opportunities to meet new people from around the world.

What makes this game stand out is its strong sense of community. Players can chat, dance, and decorate their rooms - or even host their own mini events. It feels like a virtual hangout spot that’s both relaxing and exciting at the same time.

The customisation options are another big highlight. Outfits, accessories, room decor - there’s so much to personalise, and it’s surprisingly satisfying to express yourself through your avatar and style choices.

While it can take a bit of time to earn coins for upgrades, the social aspect and daily rewards keep you coming back. The developers also do a great job of adding new content and keeping things fresh.

If you enjoy social games with a focus on creativity, fashion, and making friends, I definitely recommend giving Hotel Hideaway a try. It’s like a cozy virtual getaway where you can be whoever you want to be.

The Age Group

Honestly, it’s hard to give this game a clear age rating at first glance. However, the developers originally intended Hotel Hideaway to be for players 17+, and based on my own experiences and the interactions I’ve had in-game, I’d say that age range feels pretty accurate.

Mobile -> PC (If you own the game on mobile)

So a heads-up! You can’t transfer your progress from Game Centre, Apple, or other mobile accounts right now. The only link-ups that actually work are Facebook and Steam. Hopefully that changes in the future, but for now, if your mobile account isn’t connected through Facebook, you’ll have to start a new character on PC.

Fresh Eyes vs Experienced Eyes

Hotel Hideaway offers a unique charm for newcomers - every room feels vibrant, every emote fresh, and every interaction a small adventure. The game’s social atmosphere and constant sense of discovery make it easy to get hooked early on. However, for long-time players, that spark can fade as daily routines and familiar faces replace the thrill of exploration. Still, with each new event or update, Hotel Hideaway manages to rekindle some of that original excitement, reminding players why it’s a world worth returning to.

Robocop Rogue City

My Opinion/Recommendation

Game is fun with its combat and fight scenes with street thugs and gangs but is very consistent with bugs and crashes. It also keeps crashing at the ending cutscene of the game, forcing you to close the game and restart the whole ending again.

The dialogue and characters of the game are great at the beginning but after about half way in the characters are soulless and feels rushed. If you're looking for a story driven game then this game is not for you. However if you're into the whole idea of being a one man army that can tank a hit from anything then this game is perfect for you.

However in my opinion this game just felt empty and pretty boring at times, the game has unresolved bugs and issues (from what I could see online too that spans over from release.) I don't recommend this game. If you find it at a cheaper price then go for it.

My Overall Rating

Game's mechanics: 6/10 - Isn't spectacular but you do feel like a robot, which was the point of the game.
Game's story: 3/10 - It's very cliche (I won't spoil it) The characters and dialogue all feel lifeless and has no emotion given in it at all.
Game's combat: 8/10 - The combat is gory, bloody, intense at times and can leave you shocked at how much of a power house you can be.
Overall gameplay rating: 5/10 - The game is ok, but not great.

Helldivers 2

My take on the game
I'm a huge fan of the first Helldivers game and when seeing the announcement of the second game for February I jumped on board and started playing on release and fell in love with the game from day one, there were bugs and issues sure but reports and issues were smoothed out. The game still has more bugs than actual Terminids, but I digress. Overall the game feels/looks great and the community/player base is incredible, you really feel like you're part of the fight for Super Earth and democracy.

[Edited]

For democracy and liberty! Thanks to all the Super Citizens and of course, Arrowhead.

My recommendation
Grab yourself a copy of Helldivers 2, be a part of this incredible community along side with the developers who love this game just as much as we do.

Amazing art, Amazing weapons, Amazing storyline (even through out the other soul series games). This game was released 4 years ago yet it still holds its own with other rpg style games and has some of the best character customisation from looks to then the armour pieces and has more secret locations that ive ever seen in any game ive played. This game is a journey and not your typical run-of-the-mill journey, but one that will also be a challenge for players who aren't familiar with patience. I rate this game 10/10
