Dark Souls meets FPS Roguelike. Super fun. Difficult at first, but easier as you grow, like and good roguelike should be.

Very fun, fast-paced FPS roguelike gameplay with a story that starts out as environmental story-telling, giving little hints here and there about what's going in, but by the end has you wrapped up in how this space station got to this point and where do we go from here. If you like roguelikes and space shooters, this is definitely worth the low price tag.

Playing Hades 1, it felt like a more than complete game with surprising depth and attention to detail. After playing Hades 2, I realize now that Hades 1 was nothing more than an empty demo for things to come. This game adds so much content and so many ideas on top of the beautiful basis that was Hades 1, that I keep finding myself surprised whenever I discover there is another feature or mechanism. And despite all of the new mechanics, boons, weapons, enemy types, locations, crafting, familiars, farming, and more, the game never feels overly complicated. It feels like these features should have been there from day 1 in the first Hades, which says a lot since that first game is perhaps the greatest rougelike ever made. Until Hades 2 came out, of course.

The best of the series to date. Much darker tone than the recent games, more in line with BL2 in terms of tone. It strikes a perfect balance between dark and funny. The actual story itself is "good not great", but that is mostly due to a weak villain. The supporting villains and stories are amazing imo.

The gunplay picks up where BL3 left off, adding tons of new movement options and ways to interact with the environment. The loot is somewhere between BL2 and BL3 in terms of rarity feel. Legendaries aren't pouring out of every corner, but you also won't wait for two playthroughs to find one without farming.

Overall, if you like the older games (BL1, BL2, BLTPS) you'll love this one. Highly recommend.

I love borderlands and I love roguelikes and this checks both of those boxes.

Definitely a Hades knockoff, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This game is very very solid and with some more updates, it could be a huge hit in the roguelike space. I enjoy the progression system being tied to chambers cleared instead of bosses beaten, like in Hades. This makes the runs where you don't do very good still feel like a success and worth your time.

Hands down the best roguelike game ever made and it's not even close.

Definitely the most content out of any game in the series, with the best gameplay. The story isn't as strong as BL2, but still very good, imo (especially with context via side quests). If you like fast paced, looter shooters, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one than this.

One of the best games of all time. From top to bottom, everything is nearly perfect with this game. Story, gameplay, acting, etc. It has it all. If you even have a remote interest in Batman, you'll love this game.
