I've been a faithful No Man's Sky player since day 1. It quickly became one of my favorite games of all time, and I consider myself an intense gamer. Sure, there was a buggy start and false promises at the release that everyone likes to harp on, but even that rough start didnt bother me as much as it did a lot of people. Always at it's core has been a game for gamers that like to explore the universe and catalog its many funny inhabitants and creations. And yes, over time, Hello Games have resolved their issues and redeemed themselves in the court of public opinion by adding so much new content for free over the past 7 years or so, but its never waivered from its ability to offer a relaxing space exploration game. It has only gotten better with time.

Don't read negative reviews based on the long queues to get in. This game is dope.
