it's a bit bare-bones currently, but the gameplay is solid. I think the maps are a little -too- big and open, but that's personal preference.

The AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it's not fair that the AI rerolls a new squad for every fight because they can burn their entire army to down 1 of your elites and its ultimately worth it. But otherwise it's a good game.

Fantastic mix of platforming, fighting monsters, and solving puzzles to proceed. It's tense, it's fun, it's a great time.

One of the best immersive sims ever.
Graphically, mechanically, and narratively amazing.

Play it, and if I might give one piece of advice for doing so: Go in with your mind open. Not just in terms of "will this $30 several year old game be fun" but in terms of how you can interact with the setting of Talon 1. It's wonderful.

I'm having a grand time with it. The servers were out of commission when I first tried to play, but now it's online (along with AirMech proper!)

It's a chaotic and fun time, cranking out vehicles and defenses will warding off threats with your personal AirMech. I haven't had this much fun in this specific way since Defender on the PS2! And unlike that game, this has way more varieties in army units, AirMechs, and other tools you can use to custom-tailor to your playstyle.

Get iiiiit! The community is small currently and it's not catching a lot of people's eyes right now as a result.

It's Alien Swarm but with more of it. What else could you ask for?

It's hard to be a roguelike that attracts my attention these days, but NSI pulls it off. The mix of terrain-altering effects and sheer variety of ways to play make it a great time.

Short but sweet. A great example of a game that can tell you a bunch of things without a hint of dialogue. The story, the mechanics, it's all taught in an intuitive way. And it's clearly a small passion project which makes it all the more endearing.

Takes a bit to really get going, but becomes pretty fun if a bit basic in terms of missions and equipment. The DLC helps a bit in that regard.

Fun but can be overly difficult, I honestly suggest playing on Easy or even Story difficulty and just having fun.
