I've been a long time Halo ODST fan. So much so that after playing the likes of ODST and Reach, I just couldn't really enjoy the Master Chief games the same way. The unique experience of not just being walking Armageddon but still leaving a mark stuck with me. Since I was essentially a child, I've been waiting for another ODST style game.

Well, here it is. It certainly didn't come from the Halo IP, but its everything I had ever wanted. This game makes you work for the feeling of being a Hero, it isn't just handed to you. The mix of classic Sci Fi like Starship Troopers and Terminator makes this game stand out from the rest.

The game is also VERY community driven. Seeing as the games story line, events, and future are connected tp all of us working toward (hopefully) the same goals. Capturing, defending, etc. I'm jumping the gun a bit but the original Helldivers had a third faction and City defense maps. So more than likely, you have that to look forward to.

It says a lot that the majority of negative reviews and complaints are server related. Seeing as they just weren't prepared for the massive tsunami of Super Citizens.

Early Access Review
It pains me as both a Zenith VR fan and someone who has longed for a VRMMORPG to say I can't currently recommend this game.

It was recently announced, following recent discussion of running the game at a loss, that a new Game Mode would be added named "Infinite Realms". (Adventure co-op RPG) Which would be free to play and have a new monetization model (Seasons, Coins, Etc). Along with this announcement, it was revealed that the MMO portion of the game would be essentially put on ice. The portion originally backed by the player base, both with pledges and initial purchases of the game. Then also keeping it behind the original $30 paywall. So no updates, no new players, nothing. The game is dead.

To only worsen this situation, the studio takes a victim stance. Claiming to be such a great studio for running at a loss and continuing updates in said situation. But they only run at a loss because they refuse to listen to the community. Since launch, people have asked for merchandise, clothing, in game monetization, etc. People want to support this game so badly they even purchase upward of even 8 copies. Seriously the community loves and supports this game but are constantly betrayed and turned away. Then the CEO states in a live AMA "It's still F*ing there". The most tone deaf statement he could've made. It's there. And it's dead.

Why they would select to dump resources into a new game mode rather than make the MMO free to play and add monetization is beyond me. They made zero attempt to fix the games monetization, instead opting for the nuclear option and just abandoning it. They hate the core player base and I refuse to support their poor decisions anymore. Not that they care, if their new game takes off, they'll have no reason to return to Last City anyway. They'll do what EPIC did to Save the World.

I bought this game back when it first came out. I believed in it and wanted to support it. However I chose to not play the game until it was completely fixed. So I waited and after the release of Edgerunners and the major patches that came with it I played the game. Now I have 70 hours on a single playthrough and have got 100% of the achievements. The game is beautiful and night city is like no other. They did something truly special with this game and they continue to give it the love it deserves. All the current and upcoming features in the game are all great decisions by CD Projekt Red. I couldn't recommend this game more. It should be at the top of everyone's play list.

"No Activision. What could be better baby?" This was my previous positive review.

After playing the game after though I can no longer give it a good review. Sure Activision is gone but, the choices they made for the transfer for free were easily the worse possible. I was top tier from Forsaken before the game became free. I was comfortable farming and knew exactly what to do. However once the game became free, I was confused beyond belief. Put me at the same light level as everyone else? Why not lift the light level soft cap and start everyone off from the start like every other player. All my friends were beyond confused too who were new to the game. Giving no guidance to new players almost. You don't start with the original story, you start at the same light level as experienced players. It basically removed the progress. You can choose any campaign to start with and its just silly. Big mistakes and no way was I paying for another DLC just to feel like I had ever done something within the game.

Honestly not a bad game. I've played it on XBOX and PC since the day it released and had lots of fun but as time progressed its become such a grind fest with minimal updates that effect the people who don't buy shark cards. Of course I like nice things so I grind but I wouldn't suggest this game if you don't like repetition and grind. I do recommend it if you can deal with that and you like nice materialistic things.

Accidentally wiped my progress with a Dragonball wish and won't ever play again. Still an amazing game though.

CS:GO Review
This game is fun but it doesn't feel rewarding at all. You can win 8 games in a row top of the scoreboard and never get ranked up but lose 2 matches while top of the scoreboard and get demoted. Just absolutely ridiculous and tiring to do. To really have much fun you just need to have a game full of friends so there isn't toxic ass randoms. Just not what it used to be but i'd still recommend it.

Well since my class has been going over Bioethics, this somewhat relates and actually has quite an interesting story to it. How far should technology go and should we fear those who progress with it? Should those people still been seen as human? Do they deserve the same freedom and rights as us? Etc. Putting aside the ethical and fun story, the game is absolutely amazing. Choose stealth or assault and have some fun!
