This is the worst rendition of a spongebob game ive ever experienced! They shouldnt have made another after the remaster and heres why: from the spammed voice lines to the forced progression where i have no chance to explore the game! i have to follow the story (especially on the downtown bikini bottom mission!) in this mission if i stray off path by 1cm i lose all lives and get reset? why is that even implemented? then after dealing with all that bs im forced to hear "sticky sweet" or " Yoink" 1000 times over.. what happened to making the game an actually enjoyable experience with free exploration available instead of a linear story with d**s**t dialogue. i thought 40 bucks was low for the price but after experiencing the playstyle id state that 10 dollars may be worth it! (disclosure: im one of the biggest spongebob fans but this game is atrocious)

Ranni allowed me to no longer be maidenless, but alas i was still tarnished! (Update: (Elden Ring is still 9/10 but i can say confidently fromsoftware is barely 0.2/10) as much as i enjoyed this game i wouldnt recommend purchasing this game or anything from "fromsoftware" if you have anything other than a 1080P or 4k Monitor! fromsoftware loves to make their games only available to people with walfare hardware! if you have anything above fromsoftware can guarantee that they will use your full resolution to cover half of the screen in black bars so you run the same frames at half the screen size but if you want to cut out the pointless black bars you need to answer to our buddy "EASY ANTICHEAT" which essentially states "you out preform 96% of the community with your specs but we cant allow you to have ultrawide on a 99.9% offline game! to this date i dont think ive played another from software game other than elden ring and i can confidently say after this hassle of jumping through hoops just to get my default hardware to work i will never buy from "fromsoftware" again, no matter how good their games are theyre literally penalizing me for having better hardware than their community, let alone games made in 2000 can fit this monitor but something made in 2020 or 2019 makes sure they wont work for that monitor that was only created in 2017! how does one even devolve with such atrocities!)
