This game is a masterpiece.

This is a well made game, though it will be a while until it is completed.

Dickjokes and boring fights.

You like beeing alone? You like to look at snow quite alot? You want to know how life has been in the 90ties? You like the atmosphere of a cozy hut filled with dry fish and bloody sheets? Then do not look further, grab this gem! (Wait for December 18 if you want to play the story mode.)

Its not Q3 Arena, so you should judge it on its own premise. Its still quite fast, engaging, good movement and its beautiful. Give it a try if you want a new Quake experience. If you want the old quake, play the old quake. About loot boxes: IDK and i don't care about them. The characters still need some balancing - but this is what an early access is made for. I did not bought the game, got it for free and the e3 weekend. Therefore i may judge some thing differently than others. E. G.: i only played the starting character. I like the idea of special abilities, i don't like the fact, that i can't create a costum game without paying the extra charge. Conclusion: It needs some refinement, they should re-think their locked-character policy, still, it is fun, got a good learning curve and very quake-ish.
