This isn't the type of game I normally play, but wow was it good. 10/10 storytelling, art, humor, and of course the SOUNDTRACK! Get this game!

This game only costs 99 cents (!) but still manages to include:

Wave-based survival
Dinosaurs
Guns
Bugs
Janky animations
Terrible voice acting

Wait... that sounds familiar, doesn't it?
Yep, this game is basically ORION: Prelude.

It needs alot of polish and there is only one playable map, but it's also VERY early alpha.
The developer is a nice guy and I think he cares about this game. And since it is only $1, I feel comfortable recommending it.

Everyone always votes for the same map.

People say that Batla is pay to win, but honestly it isn't. The problem is, however, the community is pretty small and there is no matchmaking, so it puts the noobs in with the people that have 100s of hours in the game. This wouldn't necessarily be terrible, but the longer you play, the more in game cash you get. And the more in game cash you get, the more upgrades you can buy. And the more upgrades you buy, the more powerful your weapons are. And the more powerful your weapons are... well, you get the idea.

Batla has a good feel to it and honestly could be an extremely good game. I can't really recommend it though. If you have some friends to play with, go ahead and download it. If not, I guess you might be able to find a good server to play on but probably not. Give it a try if you want, but now at least you have been warned.

30 minute wait EVERY TIME I log in. Wonderful. 10/10

RAM: 16GB AMD Radeon Entertainment Series 1600 MHz
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

This game lags horrendously, even on my rig. I dipped down to probably around 10 fps at low settings in some areas of the map. I thought my computer could run this game well. I can get playable framerates on even some of the most un-optimized messes ever labeled as games, but not this time.

ARK is cool, just not cool enough to justify putting up with those framerates.
