Loved it. A great "Metroidvania Lite" for people who like the genre but struggle with "where do i go/what do i do" syndrome. You get to feel powerful, but still get great progression, and the game falls on the easier side of knowing what to do and where to go.
Also the concept, playing as the horror/monster is obviously, great!

Only just started (~1 hour in) and I feel like I'm playing an authentic Quake or Redneck Rampage clone. This game has that fantastic mid-late 90s shooter feel with a really unique setting and atmosphere (for this genre/style).
There are also some modern aspects to the gameplay that I thought were really smart, like how some enemies will jump to get a better shot at you.

My favorite not-a-game VR game so far.
Very immersive with a lot of great attention to detail. Everything is very well considered and well-done.

Love:
- Inventory management system
- The weapon/gear interactions
- The home space
- All the small detailed interactions; how cigarettes work, all the immersive stuff A+ imo.
- The atmosphere leans more heavily into surreal ghostly horror, I find it feels more Southern Reach than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I'm enjoying the story and atmosphere a lot.
- I took the headset off to answer the front door only to realize it was a game sound effect. i am so immersed when playing this game
- The difficulty feels great so far. I enjoy challenging games where I want to avoid dying.
- Survival and looting, the core loop <3

Don't Love:
- Torso rotation feels off when I rotate to look at side items and I'm unable to fix it via settings. It makes it difficult to look at the side-items and interact with them at the same time. Front pouches and forearms are great.
- Loading screen tips encourage stealth but enemy detection is difficult to judge. Maybe the stealth is meant to mean "stay as far away as possible". Sometimes I accidentally wander up right behind an enemy unseen, other times I feel as though I am far away and hidden/quiet, feeling as though I should be unspotted but I get detected. Not a huge deal as the enemies are fun to shoot, but am I trying to be sneaky or not?

So far so good. Just a few hours in but it runs very well for me. Others are reporting crashing and poor performance, but my PC is a few years old and things look and feel great.

Fantastic atmosphere and surprisingly exciting for a "clunky" game.
Edit: Still having fun in solos. I wish I could play offline but I understand that this isn't that kind of game. Regardless, love it.
