Hey, I'm Logan Theobald and I'm ranked #5 in the world on Beat Saber. My first impression was that I just really enjoyed it and I felt like I could get better at it. I really like rhythm and I used to play the piano so it was pretty natural for me to start hitting stuff to music and obviously swinging light sabers is really fun especially in virtual reality. So originally I started I was in college at the time and just playing in-between doing homework and going to class and staying up later than I should have. I wasn't too worried about scoring in the beginning I just really enjoyed beating hard songs. I didn't have any plans for getting much better at the game other than just trying to beat songs which was really fun, but once the ranking system came out during the summer I was actually traveling with just my laptop and Oculus Rift and I had a whole month of free time because I was actually homeless and living in the Walmart parking lot.
