There is truly no other game in the past 5 years that has gotten me so excited and so in-love without knowing it. I've played DnD but this game is like living it. Characters are gorgeous, brilliantly written, performed beautifully, and executed into a thrilling story seamlessly. Truly, this is one of the greatest games ever made.

Everything looks like its running at 60 fps but playing back at 24fps so its all smooth but slow as hell with a 2+ second delay.

I thought it was my machine, but Dark Souls III auto detected me onto high settings, and I know myself that it can fulfill more than the minimum described. Even then I changed to low settings and nothing changes but now everything looks like ♥♥♥♥. Light glitches all over the place, looks kind of like lightinings going off every couple seconds, and the shaders glitch in and out on certain terrain objects (grass tufts especially).

I want to play this game, but it doesn't seem to want to be played which, for a student who just shelled £40 buying it, is really irritating.

EDIT

If I could give it another thumbs down, I would. I'm not sure what happened but the game is stook in a boot loop, even after reinstalling it. Thanks guys, now I can't even play your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ running game if I wanted to, which I do...a lot.

This is just the ultimate game for relaxing and feeling productive when your own place looks like ♥♥♥♥.

Seriously though, put on a podcast or a TV show or whatever you please, and you will enjoy it 1000x more if you play this too.

It looks gorgeous, the controls are incredibly simple and well thought out, and the little story hints you get through letters and dead employees makes it all the more enjoyable to go through. Playing with friends is also pretty chill as its just a nice way to bond with them while playing games, and me and my friends do it by putting the same thing on netflix and watching through it as we talk and clean and its just a good damn way to spend an evening.

This game is genius and you all deserve it.

I really want a 3rd game out of this series, I would more than willingly play full price too because the first 2 are brilliant! This one has incredibly superior writing and much prettier graphics, but they are so small its upsetting. Because if we were given more characters to play against from more games *cough* Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, etc *cough* so we aren't hearing repeats of dialgue after 90 minutes, and had the ability to play online against other players, or just in general a longer developed game with the same brilliant writing, it woud just kick ass.

I may be being a little childish demanding a game like this, but this one is so good I just want more of it!

This game is incredible. Its simple graphics, and strong base of the Oregon trail makes it instantly familiar; it's scarily addictive, and thoroughly intelligent. I didn't know if it was purposeful, but towards the end I did notice my final two companions personalities coming through; with one having a bad habit of depressing everyone else with tales of what once was, and the other being a constant f**k up by sitting on food, playing with scrap, getting caught by bandits, and generally ruining our chances, but she was healthy enough that I couldn't justify putting her down. Also I know some people don't like the shooting mechanics, but when you're used to it, it feels way more natural than I anticipated.

Seriously this game is fantastic, get it.
