I remembering pre-ordering the game and the mess that came with it. Picked it back up recently. I think its okay. Only worth getting if there is a sale. Better off getting one of the original games and modding.

Not the best Battlefield in the franchise, but the game is fun at the end of the day. Prices and other cosmetics is to be expected in the current gaming state. ( I don't like them either) I really only recommend to buy this game on sale but def not at full price.
