As someone who's been playing this series since BTD 3 and battles 1, battles 2 was garbage on launch & basically everything was locked behind a paywall as they wanted everyone to grind for every tier of every tower. This has been removed, & has been made way easier for newer players getting into BTD.

Now they are not as greedy & its more playable than what it was on launch, so much so that I would recommend it if you like TD games.

Good game if you like the concept of having cards act as perks, mixed with the zombies theme the game entails. Its good fun with friends and has a steady sense of progression to it. There is also an element of progression in difficulty too, so it never gets too easy or too challenging. You can pick your own experience, and are rewarded for completing higher difficulties.
