Worst mobile port

If you are looking for a time to enjoy yourself, just be aware some bosses just aren't balanced unless you are willing to suffer at least having your character dying 10-50 times. Most of the things in the game is sort of balanced, but the rest is just pure BS.

Okay game but forever no updates and only keeps crashing, nothing is more triggering than seeing the valve screen load up after a crash besides poor rng which is also a specialty of the game.

A very long and tedious VN rollercoaster of emotions, the ending was really worth it though. Especially with the anime which I would like to believe to be the sequel to the true end. Without the VN, the anime just felt very superficial and without the anime the VN's end would be sort of unsatisfying. I could give a long rating for this but nope.

Global rating: 8-8.5/10 for a 20-30h (Long) VN. Personally i just felt it was kind of tedious to go through even though there were many puns.

A decently long (4~5h) kinetic novel with well designed Live 2D characters made by indie developer AsicxArt which did Fox Hime and Fox Hime Zero. 3 hero(ines) with 3 roles: Strength Offscreen/lane (Bear), Agility Digits Per Second/Carry (Rabbit), Intelligence Hard Support (Fox). Well...that is the easiest way to represent it. Oh yes, and the male protagonist has some decent character and traits this time round, unlike most male protagonists in many VNs.

The entire KN is in chinese context but voiced in Japanese with very decent english subtitles. Story plot is a mix of slice of life with some bits of tragedy and drama, overall not the apex but still quite engaging. The heroines would be vaguely classified as a tsundere, kuudere and dandere so yeah they are pretty stereotyped but they are not excessive to the point of annoying you.

There is also a slight crossover from Fox Hime. I personally feel there is way more CGs used here compared to FH0 and the interaction is more natural, the OST is good but not as good as the voiced tracks in FH0. Great coverage with the ending as well, you won't be dissatisfied with it.

Is it worth getting? If you like any of the following: Moege, Fluffy, Short KN, Good Cost:Performance Ratio, slightly touching KN. If you do not like any of the above but are curious to try? Well it is very affordable and a decent first VN considering the translation is not bad, it isn't too long and too dramatic/emotional, is in japanese, has Live2D animation and has no R18 content(but well there is something 15+ though so giri giri seifu/barely safe).

Very sweet and concise story made by a chinese VN company according to vndb but all songs and VA is japanese. Most of the translation is still accurate and smooth, with the current discount it is definitely worth getting (it is already great for its non-discount price). The CGs and song tracks for this VN is spectacular for its length. The character models are Live2D animated so those fluffy ears and tails actually move too.

Two additional stories to the anthology by Class Tangerine橘子班, starring the same heroine and side cast in both. The heroine is pretty good and not annoying, but the protagonist in both cases are not impressive. It sort of adds meaning to the plot but the experience playing becomes a chore. They are short stories (0.5~1.5h each) so you cannot expect much character development. Only has chinese subtitles, and not really what I would say be among my top recommendations but still an okay play.

My review is just my opinion/experience and may be incorrect in some areas. Anyways, GaoKao 100 Days is a very good experience to play with ample content and great art finally with decent english translation for once as a chinese VN...time for scoring. **Drumrolls**

Duration: About 2~4 hours each play through if you do not skip? And there is 57 main endings and extra DLC endings added.
Cons: No story plot tree divergence for 57 d*mn endings with multiple difficult criteria and study rng, and you dare to set that and 30 endings as an achievement? (Health -200, Pressure +75, Ideal -50, Global rating -0.5)
Pros: Artbook DLC will probably cheatsheet all the endings for you with the backstory explanation. (Money -XX, relation with Krowsea improves)

On to my opinion of GK100D:
Lets just say GaoKao 100 days is probably a very accurate reflection of the situation in China regarding the exams itself. I am from an Asian parenting background so I sort of understand the dilemma of many students studying here with the high expectations of the family. You need to understand GaoKao deciding your future is very true but only if you are in/close to "God" status in game(total score >700)...I don't really believe even a pseudo-top/tier 1 university would make such an obvious difference to their lives. I mean yes you get more prospects, but like it wouldn't even be close to as much as a degree from China's top 3 Unis.

It is a whole different level in China if you want to achieve "God" status like the achievement which is to get into Beijing or Nanjing University (iirc) in real life. Imagine China has about 1.3-1.4 billion people currently and if you take life expectancy to be 80 with equal age distribution, you face about 20 million other potential candidates including retestees for like what, at most 10-15k "God University" Placements? I mean including other desirable courses along with earlier dropouts, the chances of getting in probably goes to about the top 0.1-0.3%? Like these are the people are onto the part where GaoKao will change their life to fast track. The problem here is % looks simple to fight based on your country but you are fighting actual large numbers here like 20 million, top 0.1% of means 19.98 million people have to be below you.

So is it the end if you pursue love or become the other 99.9% or 19.98 million people taking GaoKao and not doing as well/not take GaoKao at all? No, life just continue on like the other endings of GaoKao...do not mistake the ending as bad endings. It is just a different path of life. Does it mean you will be successful/happy if you enter a "God University" or not otherwise? I mean you should personally know that from real life anecdotes. Well Overseas Uni is also another option. Going out and destroying other country university student's bell curves with your mugging from GaoKao is probably also pretty realistic in my opinion.

I mean I know someone who graduated from Beijing U previously and their story of getting in was basically diligent 14-18 hours of study everyday with night classes and self revision even on holidays and exam luck. I personally also felt such exam stress before, and relinquished thought about relationships because results come first.

Short Stories Collection of Class Tangerine/橘子班 is an anthology of 10 short stories from 7 (or 6) different series. They are all in simplified chinese and have no eng subs. The stories are all around 30 minutes to 1.5/2 hours depending on the story and they range from light hearted to deeply emotional, from fantasy to some extent realistic.

Realistic series: Butterfly, Virtual Girlfriend and 11+11
Fantasy/Idealistic series: 4 Ghost series, One Day Girlfriend, The last 12 hours
Dating Slimulator: My Idol Girlfriend wants to lose weight

Chinese language level: About Tiny Snow? Well the realistic series tend to be a bit more mature in both language and understanding, but yeah if you can read Tiny Snow raw you probably can read most stories.

Personal Individual global ratings and opinions rating from best to worst:
1.Butterfly 92/100
Butterfly is a great story, it feels just about right for length and the plot is pretty refreshing for what it tackles. The ending is also very acceptable in my opinion.

2.Virtual Girlfriend 89/100
A very good story and heroine that is probably even better than Butterfly and even Epiphyllum in my opinion, but a sh*tty protagonist that stayed sh*tty till the end in my opinion so yeah I won't ever give it a 9/10. If the ending was either for him to have his deserved bad end or actually become some sort of decent guy it would probably a 94 or 95/100.

3.Halloween Ghost is very cute 86/100
A bit of forced plot mechanism, but the story is still very engaging. The longest of all the ghost series and the best as well.

4.11+11 84/100
This story is something I really enjoyed initially and sort of accept the moral of the ending, but I think that it has big potential to be fleshed out more. The VA of the male character and side cast reminds me of Ye Xiu from TKA and the cast of a few TKA characters but well the way the story progressed was sadly a bit under my expectations and a bit too short. I mean 11+11 is reused assets from GaoKao but I find it acceptable for the content delivered.

5.Tomb Sweeping Day Ghost is not cute 78/100
Truth be told, the not cute ghost is cuter than the cute ghost. Feels like another Xiao Rong from Tiny Snow for some reason.

6.Tomb Sweeping Day Ghost is very cute 76/100
Classic tsundere heroine and lucky pervert with a sort of okay plot for its length.

7.Chinese New Year Ghost is extremely cute 75/100
To be honest, I enjoyed the concept of CNY's ghost and her interactions for the simple and short plot line that was delivered. Like I feel that it is close to Halloween Ghost's level, but too simple thus below the other 3 ghost series.

8.One Day Girlfriend 73/100
Another classic heroine with some japanese memes with a soso plot. An interesting point here is that the achievement 110 is how the heroine's handle name sounds like in chinese.

9.My Idol Girlfriend wants to lose weight 71/100
The problem with Idol Girlfriend is that it is not really a VN so I have to judge it by dating sim standards, and all I can say is it is nothing too spectacular as both a VN or dating sim. A decent time sink(2~3 hours?) for all ending that is not as much of a pain to get as GaoKao 100 Days. I can't imagine gaining 10kg in 2 months and losing 10kg in a month for an idol but well it is fantasy.

10.The last 12 Hours 67/100
A series purely for comedic element, with a short plot with reused assets from ghost that probably satisfies some laughs. I am not really looking for that in a VN but I will still give it a conservative score of 67/100 for what it delivers. Otherwise, my biased opinion would be a straight 5.5 or 6/10.

Overall, worth getting for the price especially when on discounts. Just take it as going to an ice cream shop and choosing what flavour you would like: bitter chocolate reality, sweet vanilla fantasy, ghosty mint chips, green tea macha, diet coke simulation, mango passion twirl, old coffee romance and banana joke bonanzas. Well, some stories is just deserts for the protagonist anyways.
