It gets you in the door with "Matchtroidvania" and then you have a lot of feelings about art and stuff. It's another Strange Scaffold game, you should trust them by now.

It's a fun, earnest as hell game and you should play it unless you like... really hate match 3 mechanics and also dinosaurs.

Also I promise it will answer what's up with the title.

Absolute gem of a little VN. Spot on vintage anime aesthetics, fun soundtrack and sound design, and I love all the characters (even Vanessa. ...ish)

Honestly a lot more content than I expected, even if it's leading into future sequels it feels very fleshed out as a standalone piece. Really looking forward to part 2 and beyond :)

Another absolute banger from the Strange Scaffold crew. Short (finished the main story in a couple hours, will be going back to do all the challenges), but in the sense that it knows exactly what it wants to be and commits as hard as possible to that. Incredible voice acting, tight story, snappy and responsive controls that will convince you you're actually That Good thanks to some clever work on the devs' part.

All flavor, no filler, oh and the soundtrack rules too. Get this game, it let me kick a man's head off and also feel Emotions about Byron (you'll see).

It's a banger. The gameplay, soundtrack, writing, voice acting, movement, easter eggs, replayability, all of that stuff: tight as hell. If you're here because someone said "hey what if Max Payne saw a werewolf in a bathroom and dropped the album of the year" and that sounded interesting, you're gonna love this. If you got here otherwise, the game is like that, and it rips, so buy it and play it.

Anyway yeah I beat it twice, 10/10, will wind up going back to finish Pill Cop.

It's a great little action game - feels like a mix of Sifu and the Arkham games, encourages more interesting playstyles over just getting the parry timing perfect, full of Spanish guitar and fun voice acting, vibrant colors, just a charming package all around.

You'll win fights against huge groups of enemies in ways that feel like you're getting away with something, not just hacking through goons.

The main story is short, but there's an Arena mode I'll be playing a lot of now that I "get" the combat.

More fun than a tech deck, and does exactly what it wants to do.

This game is pretty much perfect. If you've ever enjoyed an action game at all, or old timey kung fu movies, play this and never regret it.

A fun little speedrunning platformer - if you like Mirror's Edge and/or Snow Crash, that's sort of what you're in for here. Started playing because it was easy to get into the groove, played all the way through because of the wonderful, warm, surprisingly inclusive story.

Also, pretty much made by one family in their house, which is great! So happy I installed this and gave it a try.

(Ran into a couple minor bugs or weird physics things, but nothing that broke in a major way. Difficulty had a fine curve to it, and there are a surprising number of ways to adjust it if you're not feeling like you're getting in the zone.)

RIP AND TEAR
If you like tight combat that's not quite old doom but not quite CoD, this is for you. Gets a little repetitive near the end, but I was having too much fun trying to jump around the 700th arena shooting rockets at cyberdemons to care. Didn't play any of the multiplayer, but that's... not why I bought this game.

Also, the little classic doom levels are fun to replay in the new engine.

No game makes you feel like an Ace Pilot the way this one does. Won't scratch your Gundam itch, but if you're into transforming starfighters with ZOE style mega lock-on missile barrages, check this out. Just the right kind of arcade-y, without being too overwhelming.
